The Red Line Parkway Initiative has endorsed Project Connect and Prop A on the November ballot. The $300MM of funding for affordable housing to mitigate displacement pressures is a key part of the transit investment, because of how popular the new transit services will be.
#ProjectConnect’s Initial Investment includes $300 Million for anti-displacement measures, a portion of which would go toward transit-oriented developments and affordable housing along Project Connect routes. Learn more: ProjectConnect.com/

Finally, we get a city-wide, rapid transit system in Austin!  Project Connect is on the November 3rd ballot as Proposition A and it is big, timely and generational.
By voting FOR Prop A, we'll be proving that we value our essential workers with action—not just talk. Expanding high-capacity transit will provide access to jobs and truly affordable mobility options for ALL of Austin!👨🏾‍🏭 🚉 👩🏻‍🚒 🚌 👩🏻‍⚕️

#HappyMothersDay! Please continue physical distancing + staying home to stay healthy + safe for the ones we love, including our moms and mother figures.💞 Today especially we recognize moms past + present, and those who’ve taken on this role in their families.🌻Thank you! (1/2)

👏👏👏👏
I am thrilled that Council has passed my resolution to create a #HealthyStreets initiative in Austin! It will temporarily create safe outdoor spaces for residents to walk, bike, push strollers, and travel in wheelchairs while social distancing requirements are in effect.

New technology piloted in South Austin!
Peep 👀 the new bike signal at Davis Lane and Latta Drive! The blue light alerts people riding bikes that they’ve been detected and will receive a green light. Stop on the green bike legend to be detected.
Check out the new floating bus stop on Dean Keeton St. that helps keep people on bikes pedaling through as the bus picks up riders! It’s one way we partner with @CapMetroATX to keep Austinites moving! 🚌🚲
