redesigned PRWiz last week.
the old homepage was one overnight of work before beta. it did its job.
but I had claude code credits sitting unused, and an ugly website in the age of AI is criminal.
new pages are built for SEO, CRO and AI citations. an agent lands on any page and instantly knows what we do.
funny, I've always believed in shipping ugly and fixing it later.
guess this is the fix it later part.
old vs new. what would you change?
Your friendly reminder that SEO is still the #1 source to drive "high intent" organic traffic.
SEO didn't change, the only thing that changed is the # of clicks it took satisfy "user intent".
LLMs answer the basic questions easily, so the money is in:
- Content Depth.
- Information Gain.
- Intent Satisfaction.
- Third Party Signals.
Work on the above everyday, and thank me later β»οΈ
SEO is the largest source of "high intent" organic traffic.
That was true yesterday, and it is more than true in agentic search world.
The "SEO is dead" crowd gets it completely backwards.
See, SEO is not dead, the only number that changed is the amount of clicks it took for people to satisfy the intent.
That's it.
Here is a neat trick to still get the same amount of usage
- Maintain two Claude accounts.
- Fully use the last week's usage.
- Let the subscription expire.
- Activate it on the second account.
- One full week's limit available.
Repeat β»οΈ
Anthropic just rug pulled every Claude Max user.
The +50% weekly limits promo is over. Replaced with +25% permanently. That is a usage CUT disguised as a perk.
30 minutes of Fable 5.1 this morning. 90% of my session limit gone. 13% of my weekly gone.
It is noticeably worse. Immediately.
This is a $200 plan. 30 minutes should not cost you 90% of anything.
Anthropic keeps finding new ways to give you less while charging the same.
Here's what I am doing next for my AI video editing stackπ
- I am moving to two Claude Max 20x subs permanently from this week.
- I am adding an additional editor pc to my stack and giving it the secondary monitor.
- I can control both screens from a single mouse and computer, which is going to be helpful.
The plan:
- I will exhaust Fable 5.1 limits from both subs for development work.
- I will use rest of the 50% Claude Opus limits for video editing.
Here's the software stack:
- Davinci Resolve with MCP
- Claude Code as the driver
- Hyperframes for animations
- ElevenLabs MCP
- GPT Image 2.5
- Gemini Agentic video understanding
I will post update once I set it up tomorrow and edit the first video.
The goal is to just drop videos and screen recording and have claude deliver final product without needing an external editor.
Am I missing something?
It has always been that way. This is why such a large link building industry exists.
Relationship based link building requires you to:
- Have someone dedicated working on for 3-4 hours everyday atleast.
- Have something to offer in exchange in most cases.
- Settle for "good enough" links, but you are still going to have to pay for top tier links.
- You can build some good ones with organic PR, but now that above person is working 8 hours full-time on this.
The problem:
π Most businesses don't have $5-$6k to spare for a dedicated person + other costs.
Depending upon competition, many businesses can do well with $2k-$3k DFY packages, provided it is well done by service provider and actually provides value and not overpriced shit.
Even if you did have the budget, there is still the case of value, what you are getting going for a DFY service vs. what you get for doing everything in-house.
I have worked with plenty of actual businesses that outsourced their link building to us despite having a team of in-house SEOs.
They do what they are best at, On-Page, Content, and high level reactive PR, some relationship building too, while outsourcing all the outreach and link building grunt work to a team that specializes in it.
It's pay for play for majority of link building, no matter what someone says.
You can't be stuck in cultivating those 5 relationships, when your competitors are hitting 20+ placements a month...
a lot of advice around acquiring backlinks by leveraging relationships or something don't actually work for MOST of businesses? cuz from SEO perspective it might sound obvious that business owner or someone might have relationships but in most cases they don't - they are busy running the business and not like spending too much time on building time on relationships .... that's why probably the best way to acquire links is to just buy em!
SEO hot take #2 - 99% of PR is just buying backlinks in disguise.....?
Word order in your search query decides which brand Google AI Overviews recommends.
Here's a quick test I ran:
Query 1: "linkpublishers vs prwiz for link building, choose only one"
β 80% of the time it picks Link Publishers. Fair enough, given their brand presence and age compared to PRWiz.
Query 2: "prwiz vs linkpublishers for link building, choose only one"
β Just flip the order and it starts picking PRWiz 80% of the time.
I ran this multiple times over a few days and got the same result every time. Link Publishers is a much older, bigger brand with far more coverage online than PRWiz. Didn't matter.
My guess on why:
AI Overviews is built for speed. It fans your query out into a few sub-searches, pulls a small set of pages and writes from those. The first brand in the query seems to anchor those sub-searches, so the model ends up reading more about that brand and gives it more weight in the answer. You can see it in the sources panel. Whichever brand came first, those are the pages Google pulled.
What this tells us:
Term proximity and order matter a lot for AI Overviews. More than most people think.
Third-party citations still count, but not as much as they do for ChatGPT, Perplexity or Claude. AI Overviews mostly leans on what it retrieved for that exact query. In the PRWiz-first run, that was largely PRWiz's own site.
I am seeing the same pattern across different searches.
PS: This is based on my own quick searches, not a wide study.
It's hard to comprehend o1-preview was launched on September 12, 2024.
We went from o1-preview to GPT 6 Astra and Claude Fable 5.1 in less than 2 years.
We will hit probably hit AGI in another 2 years....
Tibo Sottiaux reveals he left Google for OpenAI after learning only about 20 people were running ChatGPT
"I met a couple people from OpenAI and then I was like, wait what, you only have like 20 people working on ChatGPT?"
"That is an insanely small number. That must be extremely empowering. How does that work? How do you manage to maintain a product with that level of scale, and with that level of autonomy, with only 20 engineers?"
"And then as I kind of dug and dug and dug, it was just an amazing group of people, amazing mission, super talented, super driven, and it drew me in."
"And then I joined pre-reasoning efforts immediately, like typical OpenAI fashion. I joined and it was like, oh yeah, there's this thing going on, we're going to launch reasoning models, some new paradigm."
"And then start sprinting on that, and a month later the company launched o1 preview, and that was exhilarating to be part of."
Video editing is such a pain that I am willing to pay an extra sub just for editing my videos.
Does anyone have a killer setup that they do not mind sharing?
Also, does it help if I combine Astra with Gemini Agentic video understanding + GPT Image 2.0.
Casually ranking #β2 for "casino link building".
I know SEO brands that spend thousands trying to rank for this exact keyword. PRWiz.com got there with no real effort from me.
Mostly the content engine we built. The same one that ships with every backlink order, at no extra cost.
What I'm working on next:
- homepage and service pages upgraded
- published a study on link building costs
- rest of the service pages getting the same treatment
- blog engine upgrade. First cluster of posts handled entirely by AI
Never took our own SEO seriously before. Word of mouth carried us this far.
With PRWiz, organic search and AI citations are the strategy.
I think this could have been handled better π
- Not every project that you work on, is going to hit it out of the park. No one owns Google, that they can guarantee anything.
- But blocking your customers, someone who paid you $19k, instead of addressing the issue head-on is probably the worst way to handle it.
I have worked on my fair share of projects which skyrocket as well as plenty that won't just move.
I make sure everything is communicated to my clients properly, every risk and expectation laid out properly.
When you take someone's money, you have a responsibility towards them asking question.
Blocking them is not the solution.
Bhodi from Stryker Digital SEO blocked me. π
Why? Just telling the truth.
Paid $19k for 7 months of SEO to get zero leads. I show him the data and he'll say it's a "search volume issue".
Be careful with those map results.. It may look good until you look closer
Bodhi posted his side of the story and makes some solid points.
I think people need to hear both side of the story on this before blaming either side.

Hereβs my side of the story.
First off, Iβve helped a lot of home service business owners on this platform. There are tons of testimonials from people Iβve worked with, events Iβve done in person and plenty of times Iβve helped people for free.
But if you own a business you already know one thing.
You are not going to make every customer happy.
Every business has bad customers and bad situations. You cannot let one of them define your entire business.
Now to David specifically.
I DID get him results.
I got him multiple Google Business Profiles.
I got his business ranking top 3 across AI platforms.
He tried to charge back $12,000 from us and WE WON the chargeback.
We almost never win chargebacks.
We won because we had proof of the work we did and the rankings we produced.
Iβll post that proof below.
His argument is that his call volume went down. The problem is he is only looking at calls directly attributed to his Google Business Profile and not calls coming through his website.
And thereβs a bigger point here.
If you make one marketing investment and your entire business depends on that one investment immediately producing enough leads to keep you alive, you have a bigger business problem.
Any sophisticated business owner understands that.
No marketing company controls the market, demand, your sales team, your close rate, your pricing or everything else happening inside your business.
This happened NINE MONTHS AGO.
Anyone who knows me personally or has actually worked with us knows how seriously we take results and our clients.
Could we have done some things better? Probably. Every company can.
But this idea that we took his money, did nothing and screwed him over is complete bullshit.
You cannot make every customer happy.
That is part of running a business.
I'm seriously considering switching back to Fable 5 until there is a known fix.
Fable 5.1 does seem like an upgrade in speed, but Fable 5 was everything I needed in a model, and it lasted atleast a few days on heavy usage.
Overall, not a step-up in quality, but damn expensive.
Can someone explain Claude limits to me like a child?
I speed-ran three 5-hour window, within like 10 hours of the reset.
- Each Fable 5.1, 5-hour window lasts about an hour or less.
- I hit weekly limit on third window.
Shouldn't Fable 5.1 be cheaper and I should get like atleast 4 resets of the 5-hour window before hitting weekly limit?

Fable 5.1 is released, here's what you should know:
- It is a big jump from Fable 5, they could have named it Fable 6 easily.
- It scores 55.8% in agentic coding compared to 42% of Fable 5 on terminal bench 4.0.
- It's safeguards fire 60% less compared to Fable 5.
Cache reads are cheaper, I think Anthropic timed the 17% reduction based on this.
They reset the limits π

you need pages that can rank if you expect to rank.
don't expect search engines and ai engines to figure it out. help them do it.
this is how content gets made when you buy backlinks:
the vendor takes your title, pastes it into chatgpt, publishes whatever comes out.
nothing in that article is worth anything to anyone.
and that's exactly what the link passes to you. nothing.
google isn't stupid. a link from a page it already discarded doesn't move you.
so we built a full agentic content engine instead. live SERP analysis, competitor gaps, cited research, destination matching. every article earns its place before it carries your link.
and it's free with every PRWiz order.
cool idea:
if it were me, i'd turn it into a launch platform.
launch for free or $5 and then outbid to rank higher.
on PH you outvote, on outbid, well, you outbid π
