Never mind the neighbourhood residency experience happened in April, it's never too late to revisit & share an amazing experience properly! #assynt #highlandlife #natureconnection Thanks again @bothyproject for this opportunity. allthecoloursofthenorth.co.u…

Really happy that the project local to me won. Such an amazing place and wonderful to have seen it change so much since I arrived up north and it was but a mere pile of rocks

When I see aerial photos of this area I'm often surprised anybody actually lives there, let alone me. 😮
#Assynt, where the views go on for days. The scattered insular mountains may not be as high as their cousins further south, but here the landscape is rugged, wild and unforgiving. #lochinver #nwhighlands #scottishhighlands
Download speed at the back of the croft, in the middle of nowhere. In the house, via phoneline, it's 6 Mbps on a good day & less most of the time. Time to finally consider mobile broadband. #ruralbroadband #remotework #scottishhighlands #digitalscotland #digitalinclusion

Never mind finding a dinosaur footprint in Wales, I found all sorts of ice animals in Scotland. 🤣 #frozen #lovescotland #Natureconnection

Fortunately, just as I was wondering what on earth to share on Twitter, my boys popped up. Definitely happy to share their fame😌#rurallife #highlandlife #scottishhighlands
"I’ve done my job right, when it comes time for him to raise his children, there will not be a hesitation in his mind as to where he wants to bring them up.” Stewart of @AssyntFly talks in #smallcountryfilm about the next generation of young people returning to the northwest.

For a slowly meandering, tree-hugging, nature wanderer like me this is the best time of the year, because I can finally tell where the rest of the family has gone. #naturewalk #outdoorslife #ruralife #scottishhighlands

Good to see entrepreneurship supported, especially for young people. in remote areas. #scottishhighlands #ruralscotland
Delighted to hear our ERASMUS+ application has been approved, to support youth entrepreneurship in mountain areas, working with partners in Iceland, Italy, Ireland, Denmark & Greece. Great to have this opportunity to help young people realise their ambitions @erasmusplusUK
I am sometimes calling where I live 'the edge of beyond', and sadly with regard to this project we seem to be beyond the beyond🤨 Mainland west coast stories only seem to go as far north as Wester Ross. #scottishhighlands #assynt
Wild, magical, scenery, nature, sea, beautiful, mountains, heritage, home. In the longer version of our story gathering survey we ask for the first three words that come to mind when thinking about the west coast. What would your three be? Find out more coast.scot

The broch project would be a deserving winner. When I came to live here 13 years ago it was an intriguing pile of rocks. Now it's in amazing shape for a 2000 year old building & we know so much more about its history! #assynt #scottishhistory

Just getting that awkward first tweet out of the way - thinking about it for 11 years and 7 months seems long enough.🤣A special thanks to the 44 followers I collected over the years for patiently waiting.
