ALT Handwritten postcard with teal map in the background. The postcard reads: "As a child we went to Ardtoe on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula year after year. We always went for day trips singing songs and to the other beaches on our little dinghies. One year we came across a bomb exposed in the sand... "Get back" shouts mum!! The MOD came and did a controlled explosion and we found out that this very remote corner of the west coast experienced the world war first hand. The SAS occupied nearby Arisaig House for training."

ALT A postcard, with a teal coloured map behind it, which reads: "I first visited the west of Scotland in 2009. I was part of the support team that helped the quadriplegic sablar, Hilary Lister, sail around Britain. We stayed at Dunstaffnage Marina for a few days. Most of the crew took the time to visit Oban - I though was studying with the Open University and took the time to study & work on an assignment. I made them feel guilty enough that they brought me a beautiful whisky glass from the distillery and I still use it regularly. Then - in no time at all we were off as Tulay sailed. Though the Crinnan Canal and our odysey continued."
