Tonight’s @BBCPanorama. nothing new. Since 90s debt disguised as ‘credit’ relentlessly peddled. Society conditioned by the likes of Experian that it matters. It doesn’t. Chk’d Experian twice in 22yrs; a rough 2004 start-up and 2016. Zero ‘credit’ + Zero fks given = happy life.
As an extremely low (metered) water user, the (Seven Trent, no specified date of issue across search engines) standing charge addition to my latest bill makes it 50% higher. Brilliant. 🙄
The blanket of cloud finally drifted through for a glimpse of post-totality in Rutland. My relationship with moon pic-taking been strained across decades, but it’s the participation that counts innit. #LunarEclipse #LunarEclipse2025
When I first bought said cold-pressed rapeseed oil, it was £1.99. Today it’s £2.99. And I’ve also gone back on the olive oil. Was then £4.49, now £5.69. Fkin brilliant
Fashionably late for #wildflowerhour 😬 Harebells at Rutland Water, Barnsdale to Whitwell walk and a lonesome little Common Centaury, North Luffenham airfield, Rutland last night.
Redstarts, a tale. Started last yr on usual local walk, Merlin + visual, a treat! Bird expert said no breeding here, so got lucky. This yr, sev. spots, approx 5/6. Redstart fan visited, nothing! Looked again few days ago, still there! Merlin (2-note call) wrong? No, thx to YT. 🤷🏼♀️
Sewing early doors in the shed… that’s not the usual birdsong I thought, somewhere along the back wall, on the field perimeter. Gets Merlin up… Wowza, a Lesser Whitethroat, no less! 😎 #firstbirdofmyday
Well here we are already #SummerSolstice. Though sunrise has actually been the same time for a week and just two more mins at the end of the day and the same time for the last 2/3. Wannabe fact pusher, not 😄
Well, here we are, back on X after account flagged as compromised and no access to email for 2mths. Enjoy this mornings sunrise…
Encouraging to see so many 7-spot ladybirds around… just not in my garden, though just 1 two years ago has grown to several 🙏🏻
Coltsfoot and Sweet Violet next to the railway line at ‘Tambourine Bridge’, Rutland. #wildflowerhour
You did indeed have to be there. On my way to work in Oxford Street, I took a detour to Kensington Palace. The sun was breaking, the dawn mist shrouded the sea of flowers and hundreds of candles. Unforgettable.
