"What has the BBC ever done for me"
and its this
Bethany wore a T-Shirt that said ‘Protect the Dolls’ during #Strictly rehearsals.
After posting a video, the BBC quietly replaced it with a new one that doesn’t show her from the front. During the show, they actually blurred out the T-Shirt completely. Absolutely despicable

Just a shocking, complete and utter misunderstanding of art, and a disturbing lack of consideration for other filmmakers.
"it's sort of part of VFX anyway" like VFX just exist in a vacuum and aren't made by people.

A library of the past does not make a studio of the future. This hurts the people who make entertainment with lower wages through less competition, and it hurts the audiences who enjoy it with less originality through less competition.

It says 'this is the level of effort we put into everything else'. These days, I have admiration for a badly photoshopped poster that I might once have criticised, because it shows they're sticking to making it themselves over the tempting plagiarism machine. 👍

We probably do not all realise the state of the UK TV Industry at the moment.
It’s pretty dam bleak & we know Doctor Who naturally will be one of the most expensive shows for the BBC.
I don’t love the thought of another streaming partner. But in reality it’s probably essential.
