I’m really disappointed in some fellas. Allow me to explain. A tourniquet fundraiser turned into a witch hunt. That alone is unacceptable. Everyone knows what a tourniquet does and no one wants to ever need one put on them. Then this evolved into blaming a nonprofit organization for giving first responders what they requested specifically. Again, unacceptable. You can donate, or you don’t have to. It’s not NAFO’s job to go around telling nonprofits that they should ignore what a first responder is requesting and only use one brand for the same item. • doing this creates an economic monopoly • trust is lost when a nonprofit tells a first responder “actually no, we only use (brand’s) items, we don’t care what you’ve used or what your experience is” • it is not a nonprofit’s job to try to interfere with what first responders are doing • what is requested should be what ends up in the hands of first responders I’m fully aware there are brands shaming other brands on the internet. Don’t bring me into that drama. Stop acting russian with the misinformation. Give some respect to the people trying to keep their own lives intact on the front while also saving others. It’s not NAFO’s business to tell them how to do their job, it’s only our business to support them (or not. No one is forcing you.)

‼️THIS IS NOT ABOUT DEFENCE MINISTER FEDOROV. People didn’t pour into the streets this week for one man. They came out for their own future. For how power actually gets used in this country. For a sane personnel policy. Against corruption. Ukrainians have bitten their tongue for years. We didn’t want protests, and most of us still don’t – because we know every bit of internal chaos is a gift to Moscow, on the battlefield and in the information war. That silence was a choice, a disciplined one. But we’re in the fifth year of full-scale war and the seventh year of this presidency. And there’s a difference between staying united and being expected to swallow whatever gets shovelled at us – especially when nobody bothers to explain anything and the people’s opinion is treated like it doesn’t exist. (Reminder, since it keeps getting forgotten: under our own Constitution, power belongs to the people.) So when the PM and the entire cabinet got binned overnight – a government that was already hand-controlled from one office – and Fedorov was thrown out after six months, nobody understood why. Doesn’t matter how I or they felt about any of these people personally. It made no sense. And I’m not even going to get into how someone has a habit of quietly sidelining popular, charismatic people whose ratings climb a little too high – because apparently only one person is allowed to be the great and the best. And here’s the thing about Fedorov, and it’s got nothing to do with whether I like him. The man is a builder. A good manager, an innovator – and in this war innovation isn’t a nice-to-have, it’s the whole game. We are never going to physically out-gun a Russian army that is much more bigger with unlimited human capacity. Our only shot is asymmetry: drones, tech, speed, brains. And it’s been working. That’s a big part of why we’re still standing. Reporting says he ran audits that shut down big corruption schemes, dragged contracts into open tenders, digitised lots of stuff in the ministry. The Commander-in-Chief and the old military elite didn’t beat Fedorov’s ideas on merit – apparently they smothered them in process. Refusing to take responsibility is itself a decision. And it’s one that costs us on the front line. So here’s what people are actually asking for. Talk to us. WE ARE NOT IDIOTS. Explain the decision. Own your mistakes where you made them. Show the strategy. Lay out the vision. That’s what leadership in a democracy requires, no matter how difficult it is. Ukraine’s real edge in this war has been trust, openness, decentralisation, and moving faster than the enemy. Our own government should look like that – not fight against it. Accountability doesn’t crack wartime unity. Fake unity, built on silence and “just trust us,” is what cracks. Responsibility means standing in front of the people you serve and explaining yourself. Everything else is just holding on to a chair.

It takes a village to move mountains of vital aid. Donating makes a direct impact, but if you aren't able to, never underestimate the power of a share. It could reach someone who wouldn't have seen it otherwise. Let's help get these critical supplies delivered together. ✨🇺🇦💪
Oi! Doggos! 🎯$6,000/$14,670 Who spent four hours playing hell level Tetris with a uhaul yesterday? This guy 💪 I'm now on the [long, long, loooong] drive to the warehouse with TWO ventilators, a surgical microscope, and lots of trauma and other supplies. Make my day, and this drive, and let's see those numbers go! We're 40% of the way there! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳 Let's make this 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

I received news from the front today that shattered something in me. Another face. Another life. Another person I now have to carry with me on this road. My body hurts. My feet are torn and sore. But I am alive, and today that feels like a privilege. Every step I take now has more weight behind it. This walk is not about proving how far I can go. It is about the soldiers who may never get the chance to walk home. Please do not look away. Not everyone can donate, but everyone can share. Share this journey. Share their names. Share their sacrifice. Help me make sure they are seen. Support Alcatraz. paypal.com/donate?campaign_i… #SupportUkraine

I am seeking a qualified translator to translate Strong As Us Books 2, 3, and 4 from English into Ukrainian. These books support children, families, and teachers through age-appropriate medical awareness, mental health support, and trauma-resilience tools, while also helping students strengthen both English and Ukrainian language skills both national languages of Ukraine. Supporting literacy in both languages is important for education, communication, and cultural identity. Unfortunately, the editor I had been working with is no longer with us, and it is important that these books continue moving forward so they remain accessible to those who need them. I want to be transparent that I am currently working on a ZSU salary, so my budget is limited. My intention is to make the books available online for free, with printed versions to follow shortly afterward. It has been requested by teachers, parents, and school counselor we move forward with this project for the children of Ukraine. The printer I used for Book 1 was affected by bombing, which has created additional delays, as the books were being produced in Ukraine, so that is why for now e-book versions will be available for free download. If you know of a qualified translator, experienced with educational materials, I would be very grateful for a referral. The books are written at approximately a 3rd–4th grade reading level. Thank you very much for your time and consideration and attention to this matter. You can visit strongasus.com to learn more and download your free copy of Book 1. - Long T

#Iran #FreeIran #HumanRights #DeuxPoidsDeuxMesures #WomenLifeFreedom #Gaza #Antisionisme #Antisemitisme #Israël #IranRevolution2026

EXCLUSIVE: We uncovered a secret corporate scheme to raise grocery prices. We found that Instacart is using AI algorithms to charge customers different prices for the same items. The scary part? It's not just online. It's in physical grocery stores too. Our months-long investigation with @ConsumerReports and @Groundwork found it could cost families $1200/year.

On Holodomor Memorial Day, we remember the millions of Ukrainians who suffered and died during the Holodomor. Ukraine’s strength stands as the clearest rebuke to those who tried to erase it. Today, we honour the memory of the innocent lives lost and stand in solidarity with Ukrainian communities in Canada and around the world.
