This year has been filled with learning new things, building in public, and pushing myself like crazy to prove that I can do anything I put my mind to. Yesterday I checked off getting accepted into the Apple Developer program. 🚀 I’m having a blast and feel like I am in the right space, at the right time.

Day 1 of building CasaRow in public: zero code. I caught two AI tools handing me confident, wrong answers, named the app, chose @Replit + @RevenueCat, and stopped. What do you verify before you build? Full story 👇 markeshasmith.substack.com/p… #Shipaton #BuildInPublic

Saw a Replit YouTube short of two people going head to head vibe coding on a random word. I wanted to play. So I built it. TALONT. Solo mode to challenge yourself. Table mode for party play with voting. Random word. Timer. Go. Built on @replit.

I will splurge on tiny details that only matter to me. It’s 4 a.m. @Replit is open. I just spent ten minutes on Pixabay finding a custom typing sound with the right warmth. Then I sat here nitpicking the fake code animation until it looked right. Owl hours. Petty details. Who’s up?

Saved the repo. Bonus points for seeing @nateherk already put this to work, that's how I know I need to spend real time with it.
The Printing Press now prints SELF-LEARNING CLIs Every CLI it prints from now on leaves itself notes, so your agent gets smarter every run. Real benchmark in the video: same question went from 10 calls to 2 calls. Printed an ESPN CLI before the World Cup existed... it taught itself how to find results. @ppressdev (SOUND ON!)

I played around with both of them and had a blast. Found a new movie to watch tonight that I’ve never heard of and would totally watch 🔥 🍿

People complain about generic AI content without realizing it’s often a direct reflection of their own communication, critical thinking, and creative ability. AI amplifies whatever you bring to it. If your prompts, ideas, and perspective are generic, the output will be too.
The AI flyers and AI slop in general is a people problem not a tech problem. Same way mass media became easily available and all people can do is disseminate the same 3-4 topics

Every plan has one lie in it. The assumption you never checked because it felt obvious. I built a tool that hunts for it before the build starts. Run your next idea through it and see what it finds. the-one-lie.replit.app

i've got your last 6 months of the year plans right here: > block off 4 hours of your weekend > pick a $1b company > build a micro-micro version of it > like one-single feature > open claude/chatgpt/grok + cursor/windsurf, etc. > type "i'm a noob. i wanna build something like this. guide me 1 step at time" > copy/paste into cursor > follow steps until it works voilà, you just built your first micro-saas

So many goodies on this LIVE! I first discovered @Replit a few months ago and dove right into their 10 Year build-a-thon… cold turkey 😅 I learned a ton and managed to build ‘The One Lie’ in 24 hours! I’ve been hooked ever since. What are you building with Replit? the-one-lie.replit.app

Currently watching @thedankoe Future/Proof. Craig Perry (Profound Ideas) on pairing your favorite idea with a validated one, why that's the whole game and breaking down why not having ideas usually just means not having enough knowledge yet 🤯 letters.thedankoe.com/live-s… Same struggle I had with skills though. Too many favorites, no way to know which one was actually worth building on next. That's the exact gap wildcache.io fills for me.
