A sentence I said to an 8 year old this week - “we are in a Maths lesson, we are not writing chemical formulas right now, you can do that it your own time.” This same child also said to his 7 year old peer, “you really don’t know how to write chemical formulas?” #futurescientist

Heartbroken for my children. This morning I asked them how they felt about being back and they all gave me smiles and thumbs ups. Allowing them back for 1 day, as lovely as it was, is cruel and a worse decision than keeping them off in the first place.
