Heartbroken at yesterday's events. My class have been enjoying everything Swiftie this year by making bracelets and sending pictures of their outfits for concerts. The children yesterday would have done the same. Thinking of the children, families and the community of Southport.

PE and after school clubs have been developed so much over the last few years. Delighted to have been awarded Gold on first time of applying for @YourSchoolGames ๐Ÿฅ‡

On Monday, my class visited the Leicester Museum for an Ancient Egyptian workshop. For some, it was their first time on a trip. These current year 3s have missed out due to the pandemic over the years. One child wrote a card about how much they were looking forward to it ๐Ÿฅบ

The first time I go to sleep straight away before a first day back with the children and I am rudely awoken by the storm ๐Ÿฅฒโ›ˆ๏ธ

Itโ€™s worth school staff being aware of the name Andrew Tate at the start of the new school year. With 11 Billion views on TikTok he is spouting dangerous misogynistic and homophobic abuse daily & some of his views are from boys as young as 13.

I made the decision to put football on the curriculum next year to develop and embed an inclusive and respectful culture within the sport in school. I am excited by how much the Lionesses will have inspired the pupils tonight! Roll on September โšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿฅ…๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ

Proud teacher moment. Both of my Irish dance after school clubs performed at the Mansfield Palace Theatre tonight. They did so well as many of them have never even been on a stage before! I loved it, the parents loved it and importantly, the children loved it! ๐Ÿฅฐ

I did my first assembly on St. Patrick's Day today... And yes, it did involve getting all of the kids up to do part of an Irish dance โ˜˜๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ’š

A child asked if we could read a prayer she wrote at home out today ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™

Definitely 'not to scale'. But the door for the new term is ready! ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

I've been running my Irish dance club with Y3 and 4 this half term. A parent has now signed her daughter up to an Irish dance school because she has been enjoying it so much ๐Ÿฅฐโ˜˜๏ธ

I've learnt the hard way to not leave the class' advent calendars in the window with the sun on them all day โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿ™ƒ #Melted

It's only the second day back with the children and I've worn my leggings inside out all day... Will it be a long half term? ๐Ÿ˜… #askingforafriend

Popped into school to prepare a few things for next term. Really happy with how my classroom looks and feels this year. The children love reading for pleasure in the reading corner and using the sofa... The best freebie off FB market place! ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ“˜

Half term has begun! โœˆ #andrelax

My class loved taking part in National Fitness Day! They completed all of the @GetSet4PE challenges on top of their own PE dance lesson. It was much needed movement as it is assessment week. Definitely keeping some of the moves for future brain breaks!โœจ
