I really get this
Ayo Edebiri on possibly quitting her movie-reviewing activity on Letterboxd: “I saw this interview where Willem Dafoe was like, ‘The reason I keep working is that nobody knows my taste.’ Because comedy is my bedrock, expressing my opinions is something I’m so used to in my career. Even as a writer, saying your opinions can be beneficial. As an actor… maybe mystery behooves me a little bit.” (backstage.com/magazine/artic…)

At first, I thought fuck. Now though - I think it may be an interesting fit into their portfolio as a luxury brand will actually understand the importance of a lost leader, which is what I consider an investment like this to be. More on my thoughts on why in the coming weeks.

America reminds me of that Chingy song about getting staying in toxic relationships with Tyrese on the hook and Rudy in the video. Every time I try and leave something keeps bringing me back, me back… Chingy what’s good?
BREAKING: NBC drops bombshell, reveals that Republican 2024 presidential candidate Governor Ron DeSantis just abused his power by demanding that a federal judge delay Disney’s massive lawsuit against him until AFTER the 2024 presidential election. But it gets even worse… DeSantis also demanded that the judge simply THROW OUT Disney’s lawsuit against him because he claims that he has immunity that “shields” him from being sued for creating laws that target Disney for supporting America’s LGBTQ+ community. Disney is accusing fascist DeSantis of acting like a dictator by using the power of the state to “weaponizing the power of government to punish Disney for its protected speech.” DeSantis wants the judge to delay the trial until August of 2025, a whopping THREE years, because he knows that Disney is going to win their lawsuit again him — and he doesn’t want to be embarrassed in front of voters ahead of the 2024 presidential election. Please retweet and ❤️ if you think that the judge MUST DENY DeSantis’ shameless demands — and consider investing in Tribel, a “woke” new Twitter competitor that is currently doing a round of equity crowdfunding and just blew past $2.1 million raised from 5,300 of its users. If you want to own a small piece of what is quickly becoming the “next big thing” in social media, here is the link to do so, wefunder.com/Tribel. You can invest as little as $100 — or as much as you’d like. Here’s the link to download the new Tribel app that Elon Musk is so afraid of: tribel.app.link/okwPIHYCIqb

Must be nice having a union behind you.
"How do you negotiate a fair deal if you have no data on what your show is doing?" says #Dopesick creator Danny Strong at the 5th Ave picket line. "It’s unfair, and to be honest with you, it doesn’t even feel like it should be legal." bit.ly/44oniou
