We talk about 'crossing the Pond' for the Atlantic, when will President Trump want to rename it the 'Donald Duck Pond'?😜🦆

A real rarity, the ML Aviation Utility Mk 1 crew gondola at the Museum of Berkshire Aviation. 1 of only 2 in existence as we check to see what parts we are missing. @JohnMBrooks1972 @agbdrilling @Rheumatoidman @Shadowc40481222 @militaryhistori @1940Andy @clark_aviation

Just seen an ad on TV for all episodes of 'The Bill'. Reminded me when I was at work and had to visit our south London wine warehouse, and had to use the back entrance as the front was labelled as the Sun Hill Car Pound. The other half of our building was used asSun Hill nick😜

Today marks 86 years since the German air raid on the Channel Islands. 📌PRELUDE TO OCCUPATION On 28 June 1940, Nazi bombs fell on Jersey & Guernsey, killing innocent islanders & the beginning of a dark chapter. Days later, Germany occupied Guernsey (30 June),Jersey (1 July).

💯Brigadier Snow’s return to the public spotlight shows that meaningful historical stories never truly disappear. His role in liberation remains part of the shared heritage of the Channel Islands & UK. One of the most important people in British WW2 history should never be lost⬇️

📍June 1940 something significant happened as people gathered to be evacuated as Nazi Germany was only miles away from the Channel Islands. It came as a shock to the British Population of the Channel Islands. Nazi Germany being in sight of an invasion #WW2
