With three consecutive Division 2 state titles, and five in the last 13 seasons, Medfield girls’ basketball has established itself as a perennial power. The architect and driving force behind the program’s success — which includes a perfect 25-0 record last season — is coach Mark Nickerson, a 1988 Medfield graduate who has held the position since 2004. “He puts so much thought and time into it, and he’s super knowledgeable,” assistant coach Mary Laughna said. “He really cares about every single girl, even down to the last girl on the bench.” bostonglobe.com/2026/04/04/s… @GlobeSchools @mnick40 @MedfieldAD
