Senator Robin Padilla said he no longer wishes to join politics and presented his proposed running mates for Vice President Sara Duterte’s 2028 presidential bid.
“Wala na po akong planong tumakbo sa pulitika. Maliliit pa ang aking mga anak, at isang tahimik na buhay-Islami ang aking pinapangarap at minimithi,” he wrote in a Facebook post on Friday.
He named allies Senators Alan Peter Cayetano, Imee Marcos, Bong Go, Ronald dela Rosa, Rodante Marcoleta, and Atty. Salvador Panelo as his preferred “ka-tandem” of Duterte.

Sentor-judge Robinhood Padilla declared during the fifth day of Vice President Sara Duterte's impeachment trial that he is a communist.

With the reported departures of Thunder champions Aaron Wiggins and Isaiah Joe, it is most fitting to honor their legacy in Oklahoma City. These two gentlemen were key contributors to our 2025 NBA championship, our city’s first championship in a major league professional sport. Hey I know of this basketball coach from a city in the south. He’s making his boys run uphill and other physical activities. Supposedly, those who can’t cut it will not be part of the team. Maybe the PNP wants to investigate him for hazing as well.
Is Jessica Soho an award-winning journalist or a sensationalist hack? I just watched her misrepresent the statement of the PNP to a grieving couple, heavily implying that their son was killed because the incident where he lost his life was “not an accident”. So irresponsible.
