It is exactly 11 years to the day on Saturday since Wakefield won the Million Pound Game.
A 20-year-old Tom Johnstone played that day: so I re-watched the game with him this week for his memories. How he didn't want to play, internal bust-ups and more..

❤️ It is with a heavy heart that we learn of the passing of our friend and colleague Dean Williams.
Many fans will recognise Dean as our club photographer, a role he held with great pride for 12 years at Wakefield Trinity capturing some incredibly iconic moments.
A man that was incredibly passionate about Wakefield Trinity, Dean was a fan first throughout the 80s before becoming involved in the club.
Everyone at the club would like to pass on our thoughts and condolences to his wife, Faye and children, James and Mark and all of his friends and family.
Rest in Peace Dean. You will be dearly missed. ❤️🤍💙

Heartbreaking news today about the passing of 2 Wakefield Trinity Legends - John Kear and Geoff Oakes. Both men were extremely kind and supportive of my time at the Club & were the kindest people you could wish to meet. Sincere Condolences to both sets of families and friends 💔

Never been one for slating officials but sat in front of a tv screen Tom Grant is either incompetent or blind. Sin binning Josh Rourke when both players lose the path of the ball was absolutely criminal
This search for a faster game must be contributing to injuries.Trin’s first defensive set last night it was penalty, 6 again, 6 again, penalty!!! Absolutely ridiculous. Both sets of players just looked perplexed. That standard was not maintained in the second half (thankfully!)
