Never forget 🇺🇸
This video of 9-11 in 2001 is trending in 2026 because many are saying it's the first time they've seen the video. It shows the plane hitting the second tower.

Unprompted shout-out to @michael_upstack and his team at Upstack. Whenever there is a performance issue I always dig into the data and ask questions. They've been extremely responsive and not once has an issue been their fault. It's a complicated ecosystem and it's super valuable to have a resource we can trust and who gets back to us.

No amnesty! Amnesty is NOT what people voted for in 2024!
JUST IN: 🇺🇸 New House agriculture bill would grant amnesty to illegal immigrants with farm work history if passed.

This Meta “blind spot” is stealing 40% of your ad spend: Every time your data forgets a buyer, Meta charges you to find them all over again. When someone clicks your ad, buys, and comes back on a different device, Meta often doesn’t even know it’s the same person. Their cookie could’ve expired, or maybe their ID changed. But all that matters is that your cross-device tracking didn’t resolve to the same customer profile. That’s why Facebook treats them like a brand-new prospect. So you end up wasting money to reach them a second, third, or even a fourth time…just to convert a buyer you already had in Klaviyo. Meanwhile, your flows would have already triggered if your site actually remembered the customer’s identity in the first place. We specialize in fixing this at Upstack Data. Because the better your data remembers, the less you’ll waste on customers you already own.

Meta ads algo is possibly the greatest prediction machine ever built. Few places where you can insert $100 with a couple static images and turn it into sales and positive roi. The predictions get better the more data it has. You send data back via the pixel and CAPI. Send back bad data and you can hurt efficiency and roi. Send back good data and you can improve efficiency and roi. It's the difference in thousands of dollars in ad spend.

May need a bot to tweet this picture daily. When you hear "mfg job loss has been going on for 50 years" or "it's mostly automation," or "this was just the expected decline in mfg share of jobs," please remember the data. Many good debates to be had working from shared reality.

wow. this post is crazy. here are two data points to reinforce the scale of this on amazon...
I’ve been selling on Amazon for 14 years. Built a huge business there. It helped fund my exit from corporate America, my re-entry to investment real estate, my lifestyle. But an alarming thing occurred around 2019. I saw A LOT more Chinese sellers popping up. And the crazy thing is, if you took even an hour to scroll through the seller forums Amazon had become rife with Trademark infringements being filed against US sellers. But the caveat was, many of the IP infringement takedowns were coming from a person outside of the US. Amazon would then take the claimants word as gold, destroy the US based sellers account and all of a sudden, a Chinese based seller would pop up on those listings. The US seller could not fight it and Amazon would not listen. A long standing seller, making their living on Amazon, shut down by a single Copyright infringement “claim”. Then to watch multiple OBVIOUS Chinese selling accounts pop up in their place…was not only common, but rampant. But the most insane thing was: Amazon didn’t care about the sellers in the US. They took fraudulent trademark claims as gold, destroying many third party US sellers in the process. The tariff impact on these Chinese sellers will be the “Chickens coming home to roost” for Amazon…and it will be glorious for all of those who suffered as a result of Amazon putting a fraudsters word above a mom and pop third party seller based in the US.

Recreating a lost generation of manufacturing prowess and investment will be painful. We can't come off the drug of outsourcing our destiny without withdrawal symptoms. Problems that took decades to create sometimes take decades to fix. It won't be all sunshine and rainbows.

Looking for a creative agency. was talking to another brand owner about creative. He’s looking to make some creative he’s got a ton of creative banked video and statics. I know for my recent tweets there are a lot of creative folks out there working off percentage of spend. Anyone wanna reply below he’ll be seeing this I think he’s also gonna tweet later but we probably have a different followers. I’m keeping a close eye on what he’s doing even though I have three or four creative agencies working right now I have room for more . Anyone that does a good job for him I will be looking at for Perfectwhitetee.

Laws written by unelected bureaucrats make everything more expensive—and take low-cost options like this $13,000 truck off the table For that very reason, many of these laws could never be enacted by elected lawmakers There’s something very wrong with letting unelected regulators force unpopular, burdensome laws on American citizens without the consent of those they elect

It is absolutely wild this is a thing. Toyota would conservatively sell about 70 million of these things in the US. They'd become one of the most common cars. Hey @JDVance fix this.

The vibe has shifted. When we launched Mini Katana in 2021, we were the only ones selling anything we had. Slowly, over time a million copycats formed. I can’t do anything to stop them. My largest competitors for that business all ship direct from China and use loopholes to evade tariffs and taxes. They don’t need to have insurance like do. Pay sales tax like I do. They don’t hire Americans like I do. In 2022, I threw up my arms and gave up on doing anything about it. The last 3 months I’ve never seen so many folks talk about the issue in the mainstream like this. If something shifts in 2025 that ends these loopholes that let China dominate on Amazon and Ecomm, it will make it directionally easier to be doing online sales as an American small business. It’ll be the first event in the long time that does that.
If we want to end knockoffs , we should require any products from china (to start), to: 1. Register as an importer of products and post a minimum of 25k bond against potential future infringements that scales as potential sales increase 2. Have to register and display any product they want to sell online, on a .gov website (similar to patents ) for 90 days. Allowing IP holders to review for infringement 3. Pay 5k per product to cover cost of the above 4. If challenged, like the DMCA, prove they are not infringing. The onus is on them. Not the American company, which today bears all the risk and cost burden to prove a knock off should be deleted from Amazon or wherever 5. Automate the system, so once approved a number is assigned to the product (like patents ) 6. Fine any retailer who sells an imported product a lot of money. 7. Consider making the 5k per product fee, and annual fee 8. If the product wasn’t going to sell enough to cover these fees and overhead, it was only there to rip off sales from American Companies This is how you get China to pay. And how you at least start to protect American companies, from being knocked off.
