No. Socrates never said any of this.
He left no writings. What we know comes from Plato, Xenophon and others. This list of âsymptomsâ appears nowhere in those sources. It is a modern social-media meme, not an ancient text.
Platoâs Republic does discuss how regimes decline, but in a very different way.

Insane number of people in the comments saying that the business:
âprobably didnât know that she was Kelly ClarksonâŚâ
Yeah, thatâs kinda the entire point of the post, a business should treat everyone with respect and kindness.
Because that âsomeoneâ could be Kelly Clarkson.

Why is Christa Pike being kept alive on life support when she was sentenced to DEATH ??

I canât be the only one thinking that maybe this new âbotchedâ execution went exactly the way someone wanted it to go.
Same doctor. Same drugs. Same result.
Only months apart.
Sounds like someone wants TN to abolish the death penalty.
And theyâre sacrificing justice for Colleen Slemmer to make that happen.

Non-binary means a gender identity that is neither exclusively male nor female, or that falls outside the male-female binary.
Fluid (gender-fluid) means a gender identity that is not fixed and can shift or change over time.

I am absolutely livid.
We had to drive to the Walgreens in Alma because the Van Buren Walgreens no longer has a pharmacy, and my husband has a prescription we can only get through Walgreens.
We get there and they tell us the copay is $190.79. It has ALWAYS been $23. It was $23 last month. So we questioned it right there at the window.
The employee was snotty and arrogant and acted like we were just a couple of clueless old people who couldnât possibly know what we normally pay. He insisted $190.79 was correct.
So we called our insurance company. The copay is $23.
Now hereâs the part that really gets me. Walgreens has our credit card on file and had no problem charging $190.79 to it, but they apparently canât refund the overcharge to that same card unless we physically return to the store.
That means another 50-mile round trip because someone couldnât be bothered to double-check something we specifically questioned while standing right in front of him.
Mistakes happen. I can deal with a mistake. What I have a problem with is arrogance when a customer tells you something isnât right and you canât be bothered to check.
And sometimes those âclueless old peopleâ standing at your window actually know exactly what theyâre talking about.

Gen. Mark Milley has the Combat Infantryman Badge (2nd award) for active ground combat in separate wars, Bronze Star Medal (4 awards) for combat-zone merit, Afghanistan Campaign Medal (3 stars), Iraq Campaign (2 stars), plus Defense/Army Distinguished Service Medals, Legion of Merit and others for senior service. He deployed to Panama, Haiti, Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan. All are authorized; none he should not wear.

So, the White House Press Corps wants to talk about censorship. Great! Let's have that conversation. How many times have the networks and cable channels refused to broadcast President Trump's speeches?

Curious. đ¤¨
The same people jumping up and down about Sydney Sweeney being nude in that advert⌠did they have the same problem when Lizzo went fully nude for a photoshoot?
Or was that fine because sheâs overweight, Black, and it counted as âempoweringâ?
Is nudity only allowed if the woman doesnât look too good?
Because the rule right now seems to be: some bodies get a standing ovation. Others get a lecture.
