It took advocacy from many folks and because of that work, beginning tomorrow, asylum seekers from Venezuela are eligible to apply for Temporary Protected Status and expedited work authorization after 30 days. NYC restaurants are prepared to hire them and provide opportunity, just as these folks are prepared to work and create better lives for themselves and their families. Big thanks to the leadership and proud to stand alongside and speak with @GovKathyHochul @dhmeyer @leslie_abbey at the impactful @HotBreadKitchen @theNYCalliance
