In 2016, the federal govt launched a pilot program to allow food insecure people to use SNAP to buy groceries online. Today it’s running in AL, IA, NY, WA, & OR.

A new study compared subjects who wore bed socks (elevating foot temperature by 1.3 °C) to a group without bed socks.
The bed sock group fell asleep 7.5 minutes faster, slept 32 more minutes, and experienced 7.6% greater sleep efficiency.
