What is going on @BBCNews Angela Raynor paid the wrong stamp duty and you were on her like a dog with bone. Farage is on film accepting massive illegal overseas payments and you look the other way. WHY am I paying a licence fee for this rubbish?

Imagine that just a few days after the news came out that scientists were left stunned by how well children's lungs have recovered from ULEZ, that someone is stupid enough to suggest watering it down.
Exclusive:
James Cleverly signals he will review Sadiq Khan’s ULEZ policy if he becomes mayor of London.
He tells @Telegraph he will end Labour’s “war on the motorist” and put the cost of living ahead of Net Zero targets.
He says: “This really quite vindictive assault on drivers – both people that drive for family reasons and for people that drive for business – is causing real harm.
“So I want to look at a whole range of options to ease the costs and pressure of people getting around the city and doing business in the city.”
But he stops short of pledging to scrap ULEZ outright, warning than “chopping and changing” of policies can be frustrating for voters and businesses.
Cleverly also says he would:
- Support driverless Tubes
- Press the Met to tackle petty crime
- Back TFL staff over fare dodgers
- Forget Net Zero if it drives up bills

I genuinely don’t understand how we are supposed to casually process that a glacier literally collapsed in Nepal, erasing 19 bridges and killing over 600 people, because the planet is too hot. And instead of stopping it, billionaires are building more data centres. It is completely psychotic.

There should be a hall of residence for MPs. Each MP has access to a small apartment with sitting room, double bedroom, bathroom and small kitchen. When the MP loses their seat they move out and the next MP for that constituency takes over the residency. No need for second homes.

The ULEZ - now the world’s biggest clean air zone - was one of the toughest fights of my political life, but I have no regrets.
Cleaning up our capital’s toxic air has changed young Londoners’ lives – and nothing could matter more than that.

This stopped me in my tracks.
An independent study by @QMUL has found that after ULEZ was introduced, children’s lungs grew faster in Central London and have now caught up with children outside of the capital. Incredible.
Air pollution stunts children’s lung growth. New Queen Mary research found that improvements in air quality after the introduction of London’s ULEZ are associated with accelerated lung growth in children.

The revelation that Sunak has paid £1M in tax in the last 3 years 0.13% of his £720m wealth.
While the average person has paid about £45k or 14%, 100x as much.
Should open your eyes to just how much and how blatantly the rich dodge tax
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
UK taxes are levied on income and capital gains, not net worth. Sunak paid £1.05m in tax on £4.77m income over three years (effective rate ~22%), not 0.13% of wealth. bbc.com/news/uk-politi… instituteforgovernment.org.uk/explainer/weal…

Unpopular opinion but I think they should ban vape flavours entirely. They should be unflavoured or tobacco flavoured and they should be banned indoors like cigarettes
We've reached a level of absurdity where "Customer Service" means talking to a chatbot that doesn't understand your question, waiting on hold for 45 minutes, and then explaining your problem to three different people who all ask for the same information. It's designed to make you give up.

We have now launched a petition to ask the Conservative administration in Westminster not to scrap free school meals for secondary school kids: westminsterlabour.org.uk/iss…
The Conservative administration in Westminster is cutting the universal free school meal offer that was put in place by Labour for years 7-9. They don’t understand the purpose of a universal non stigmatised offer. Their first big cut -children’s food. westminster.gov.uk/news/west…
