Mind you, there is literally no reason to live like this. I think transplants fetishize this experience so they can say they had the “starving artist New York” experience. But accepting accommodations like this hurts us all.

I started my gym journey in 2021 when I was WFH and for the first time I didn’t spend 2-3 hours a day commuting to work. I had more time to take care of myself and was much happier for it. I’m hybrid with flexibility now & it works, 5x/ week in office would actually kill me lol

Also the occasional lunch time nap for 30-40 minutes was very good for my productivity. Especially on the days I was experiencing mental fatigue and needed a quick refresher. I’d wake up and have more gas in the tank to work longer

This might be true for people with commutes less than 30-40 mins each way. Commutes are a time and energy suck and takes time from family/friends, cooking, sleep, exercise, hobbies etc… those things have a higher ROI to quality of life.
My strongest “vibes not evidence” belief is that remote work is a cancer that’s making (most) people miserable even though it seems better in the short term.

I love that we’re getting back to maximalism with the home decor. The beige and grey decor was getting so tired.

You are a really bad person if you leave your dog’s shit on the sidewalk. Completely disgusting.

I know sales are down because companies are getting desperate. It’s not enough to be bombarded by marketing emails and texts, now they’re making phone-calls too

I will say, as someone who kept her hair done from the age of 12-13 until my mid 20s, I miss having a standing appointment. I hate the new beauty culture.

the trick is having the courage to live through a chapter you hate without letting it poison your belief in the story. even in the middle of something painful, you can hold onto that deep pull toward what your life could become. so much of life comes down to your ability to keep believing in what you cannot see yet, to keep faith in the story while you’re still living through the parts that make it hard to believe

The content is low vibrational af. At this point idk what more to mute/block!
I’m not even being dramatic when I say there’s very obviously some sort of insidious plot behind NONE of us being able to filter out that B***face content.

It really does suck when the expensive item lives up to the hype and there’s a large gap in quality with the cheaper items lol

As a long time tiny home enthusiast, I’ve noticed that they’re starting to look like regular homes now lol. Sq footage keeps getting bigger every year

I saw a video of a girl talking about blocking a creator because the creator happily announced her pregnancy and the OP doesn’t think anyone should be procreating. Some of us are unhinged and nasty for no reason.
Women can be so weird to each other. I remember i just gave birth and a woman looked at the baby and said “all her hair is going to fall out.” Excuse me? 😭 I’m just happy I’m alive?
