Tom Cruise (64) is officially older than President Franklin D. Roosevelt ever was in any photo, including this one.

I was just watching clips from The Ghost and The Darkness which in the 90s was considered a second tier late summer adventure movie but now with its gorgeous location shooting, smooth camera work and confident movie star performances feels better than anything released in 2026.

It’s the definition of lying.
This is the definition of delusional.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders says Trump did not start the war in Iran and that he's trying to end it. She directly blames Biden for the Russia-Ukraine war.
"It's not a new war. And we have a president who is trying to put a stop to it. This has been going on for decades. This isn't new. We're putting an end to it.
The war that you see between Russia and Ukraine was born out of the weakness of the Biden administration."

An entire generation idolized Mike McDermott when the real hero of Rounders was Joey Knish.

Rounders is an all-timer for me because it has four of my favorite actors all throwing 100 MPH at the same time: Matt Damon, Ed Norton, John Turturro, and John Malkovich. All four of these men are cooking with hot grease here & perhaps no one more than Malkovich. Everything about this is so ‘90s coded & I think it’s aged exceptionally well. For those of you who’ve yet to see this film, I can’t emphasize enough its quality.

Even when he was a 17-year-old rebel pain in the ass, Ray Kinsella could have been a little more empathetic to his pop. The man saw horrific things in WWI, then lost the love of his life when Ray was just three. So yeah, he was closed off. No shit. The EGO on this Ray Kinsella.

Fareed Zakaria: “When Democrats come under pressure, they find it much easier to move left on economics than toward the center on culture.
If they speak plainly and say that the border must be controlled, repeat offenders punished, and standards of merit defended, or that biological sex matters, they risk revolts from activists, advocacy groups and highly educated staffers.
So instead, Democrats offer a larger subsidy, a new benefit or a fiercer attack on billionaires while leaving untouched the cultural attitudes that alienate many voters.”

Are you telling me Nolan made three movies where the hero appears to die, only to end up with Anne Hathaway?
Her answer was about as bad as Dukakis debate answer in ‘88. #IYKYK

The Democratic Socialists of America are using century-old Trotskyist tactics to infiltrate and subvert the Democratic Party. It’s time to throw them out.

At some point Dems are going to have to grapple with the reality that in the face of all of Trump and Republicans’ manifest horribleness and incompetence, people aren’t rushing toward the Democrats. If you think the DSA stuff is helping, you’ve never talked to a swing voter.
