The apps I vibe-coded for my kids are featured in this fun article by Jasmine Sun, showing how when people can build apps for themselves, without needing to convince an engineer to do it for them, lots more apps get built!
I'm in @WSJ today writing about vibe-coding and home-cooked apps :) excited about shifting to world where software is something we each create, not just consume

A reminder that the only autonomous robot experience you can use today was not the result of Google spending 15+ years making a humanoid robot that could drive a car. They did the smart thing, and made the car into a robot.

I’m glad someone is thinking about the social role of robots, and not just their utility. Andromeda has ~30 of their Abi bots in live deployments at senior homes and hospitals. Agility, who is about to SPAC, is rumored to have a similar number…

Cooler-on-wheels is a great format for delivery robotics. This Kiwi was being tele-operated AND had someone following it around in-person. Autonomy is a technology. Delivery is a service.

The gap between demos and reality in robotics is real. It was super fun to have a robot come over to clean our house, but my son’s job unloading the dishwasher is safe, for now.

Opus 5 can do this with zero demonstrations despite not being trained for robots. On the flip side Opus took 7 minutes while GEN-1.5 took 7 seconds. 🧵
Replying to @GeneralistAI
Or when fine-tuned to place a block into a bowl, it can clear obstacles (like a piece of paper covering the bowl) to complete the task, despite that not being in the demonstrations.

Just threw in my $ for this guy. 🇺🇸
I’m a mechanic, marine, and sports radio host, raised in a trailer park in Mason City, Iowa. I'm fighting for a Democratic Party that people like me actually want to be a part of. I'm fighting for a country that's ruled by the people who sustain it, not the billionaire class. I'm Nathan Sage. I'm running for US Senate. And I'm going to kick Joni Ernst's ass next November.

In 2022 I raised 7 figures for a decentralized electric mobility financing protocol's future tokens. We pivoted out of crypto and @hello_tempo now offers theft protection to ebike owners.
