We are living through a spiritual holocaust for the genuine and gentle-hearted. Never before has the world so perfectly punished all that is best in the human soul, and so rewarded the opposite. This is the age of the psychopath. The thing that makes me saddest is how well most people seem to adapt as we continue to slide into this hell. If they're actually adapting, then that's fucked that the average person has the capacity to be so cold. If they're just pretending to, they're letting their own status-signaling outweigh the good they could do by speaking out.
