Shout out to Jarren Duran. Definitely saw something, passed it along to the boys and a 6-run inning (and counting) followed.

My final thoughts on the Rafael Devers situation. The Red Sox handled this entire situation horribly and I can't even begin to fathom what their thought process has been during all of this. If they just kept an open dialogue with Devers all offseason a lot of this could have been avoided. They know more than anyone how different Devers is. He is not your typical superstar.
I have a hard time believing all the stories I read from @joonlee yesterday, but that could just be me living in denial. I don't think Devers ever sought out to be a bad teammate (or a distraction) but he unfortunately let this situation get the best of him. I still think he was loved by teammates.
At the end of the day both parties fucked up and the fans pay the ultimate price by watching another superstar walk out that door.

Craig Breslow at 7 pm probably: "The juxtaposition of the current state of affairs in the environmental cathedral of these 26 guys was held in higher regard than the self assurance of one individual. We believe the symmetrical analysis of the individuals is more beneficial."
