Review: Displaying a real willingness to push boundaries, @RheingansSis’s ‘Start Close In’ is an endlessly fascinating, multi-faceted album steeped in the traditions of European folk dance but equally inspired by the avant-garde leanings of John Cale... klofmag.com/2024/09/the-rhei…

Just because you’re loud doesn’t mean you’re popular. The thugs on Britain’s streets last night tried to shriek and bully us into thinking they had a majority on their side, when the only thing they had on their side was bricks. The rest was noise. They’re a tiny fraction of a country that’s much bigger and more generous than they’ll ever be.

Everyone knows Labour are going to win the election, but if you’re feeling like there’s no point in voting as the outcome is a foregone conclusion, I’d like to draw your attention to something really radical that is on offer tomorrow: 1/8

So Section 28 for trans people then. And I'm supposed to vote for this to 'get the Tories out'? Get fucked. There aren't enough trans people in all of the UK to swing an election result - I will not be pushed to vote for a party with such blatant disdain for my existence.
🚨 BREAKING: Keir Starmer says he'll BAN schools from teaching young people about transgender identities. Starmer said: "I’m not in favour of ideology being taught in our schools on gender". (Source: @ScotNational)

No @UKLabour you're meant to bring expertise back to government not follow the Cass Review. Just put "let's deny trans people healthcare" instead and be honest about it.

🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I don’t want to be that guy… but I’d be grateful for some help. My gig this Saturday at Settle Victoria Hall has only sold 33 tickets 😫 Obviously this isn’t super, nor is it financially viable… Please share this post and book tickets!! settlevictoriahall.org.uk/ev…

Don't confused "strictest headteacher" with "best headteacher" as I strongly suspect she isn't.
“Something needs to come from the government." Britain's strictest headteacher @Miss_Snuffy urges the government to ban parents from giving children under sixteen access to smartphones and social media. 📻 shorturl.at/sLPTX @AasmahMir

Isn't it great how every option they come up with is more expensive than the thing they say is too expensive?

Just heard the Home Secretary stand up in Parliament and declare that "the British people support the Rwanda plan". I'm sick of these guys telling me what I support. I do not support the "Rwanda plan". If you don't either, please retweet.

Hey @RishiSunak you can pass as many laws as you like saying any country you like is safe to send asylum seekers to but that won't make it true and I don't think the Supreme Court will let you get away with it let alone the ECHR. Maybe try a real asylum policy this time?

Marching and calling for a ceasefire and peace so that more innocent children don’t get killed is not really the definition of a hate march.
I agree with the Prime Minister. It is entirely unacceptable to desecrate Armistice Day with a hate march through London. If it goes ahead there is an obvious risk of serious public disorder, violence and damage as well as giving offence to millions of decent British people. 1/2

Okay who removed the brains of the Conservative party? Where does that rank on the scale of worst speeches by a Prime Minister at a party conference? And they applauded! Disgusting. Idiocy, bigotry and sheer lack of understanding all in a neat little basket.
