Blogged: SSW purchases TinaCMS – the #1 CMS on GitHub – we love Markdown ❤️
I’m excited to share that we have acquired @tinacms – as I believe, every website should use GitHub with Markdown. Tina also comes with a rocking Markdown editor and of course, the best version control system on the market, bar none.
We are competing with big players such at Contentful, Sanity, Sitecore and many others that we have build great solutions on over the years. They all have the same Achilles Heal being a propriety database. GitHub is the answer, the question is irrelevant :-)
In addition, over the years as SSW’s Chief Architect, I’ve seen firsthand how Markdown simplifies so much for content editors. We’ve been fans and using TinaCMS for a while, it even powers the SSW website! That is because we wanted a simple UX + awesome version control.
Tina’s vision of a seamless Git CMS is shared by SSW engineers.
I have a lot to learn, and am excited to be adding features to make Tina the best CMS out there. Users will start seeing more features very soon as the Tina team will be supercharged with engineering power from SSW.
If you have product suggestions or bugs please post on GitHub, and for support check out our community Discord.

In the speakers’ lounge at #NDCLondon, got some comments on my “professional setup”.
At work, I've had some Windows friends also ask how what webcam am I using... because it looks great on Teams calls
✈️ My travel gear
- iPad as a 2nd monitor
- Portable tripod so the camera is head height
- Teams calls - no change, I use the built-in mic on my MacBook
- Recordings - I pull out my DJI Mic Mini

We're on Next Wednesday (Nov 6) at the @SSW_TV office in Newcastle. We'll have a talk on using #Photino and #blazor to build cross platform apps. RSVP meetup.com/newcastle-coders-…
Big thanks to @SSW_TV for letting us use the office for #DadLAN first #Newcastle subnet. We all had a blast 💥(pun intended), played so many games, someone even tried to conquer the rings… and we even had a chance to show the #CentralCoast how to play Unreal Tournament 2004 😜
Even though I'm posting this to get a 35% off coupon, I cant avoid saying it's freaking cool: lo.cafe/notchnook
🚨 New Term: #Chatsplaining 🚨 Someone asked a question, my wife nailed the answer, but then a male colleague used #ChatGPT, and it came up with the exact same answer! 🤦♂️ I totally called him out for chatsplaining. #AIethics #Mansplaining #TechCulture #DigitalEtiquette
Helping my lovely wife to vend this weekend at the #sheepshow in #bendigo and feel like I should run into @larsklint sometime soon

I'm in the office today, it feels like a pogrom is brewing across the road from work.
Loud drumming and chanting, cars honking their horns in support.
From inside the office, it sound reminiscent of a rally in Nazi Germany.
