Search engines aren't reading your content database, instead they are reading your webpage.
That makes your content format matter more than ever.
Eve Cogan explains why plain Markdown gives AI search engines clean, structured content they can understand, and how TinaCMS lets teams keep a friendly editing experience without giving up the simplicity of Markdown.
In the age of GEO, boring files might just be your competitive advantage.

Media changes should not bypass your review process.
Eli Kent demonstrates how TinaCMS previously committed uploaded media directly to the main branch, even when Editorial Workflow was enabled.
See the improved workflow, where images are uploaded to a dedicated branch, added to a pull request, and reviewed before they reach main.
Protect your main branch and manage media updates with the same confidence as content changes. 🔒

Did you miss this one last month?
Tina Cloud’s Separate Content Repositories feature lets teams keep application code and content in independent Git repositories, without creating a deployment and syncing mess.
Josh Berman shows how the setup improves permission management, keeps Git histories cleaner, simplifies deployments, and makes large content-driven projects easier to scale.
You’ll also see how to configure separate generator and content repositories directly in the Tina Cloud dashboard.

Content editors shouldn’t need access to your app’s code – so separate the repo.
TinaCloud now makes these separate content repositories dramatically simpler:
✅ No duplicate lock files
✅ No 2nd TinaCloud project
✅ Just flip a switch!

TinaCMS thanks SSW consulting for making the No.1 Markdown CMS work in China! 🇨🇳
There were 100 problems because of the Great Firewall of China, but they’re now all fixed.
One big problem was TinaCMS usually runs on Vercel, but Vercel is blocked in mainland China. It’s a classic roadblock for global teams.
SSW China built a custom GitHub Action to bypass Vercel and deploy directly to Alibaba Cloud. It worked so well that the TinaCMS team officially integrated it into TinaDocs.
China already has many TinaCMS customers, a big thanks to Fudan University (one of China's top 3 universities). They have already moved onto the new TinaCMS version. The university staff are now managing their own markdown content smoothly.
Since SSW have a Chinafy team on the ground in Hangzhou, they know how to solve problems that 1.4 billion people need fixed.
Thanks to the @SSW Chinafy team for their enthusiasm on this project. ssw.com.au/consulting/chinaf…
