@BBCSO @the_halle @hallechoir @mattconducts @neilcpferris @bbcproms The ‘unsung’ heroes are the ones responsible for ALL the singing. Hours of dedication from these fantastic choruses and their directors makes amazing things happen. Totally privileged to work with them.
Deep joy to bring @hallechoir and @BBCSO chorus together for The 🔔s last night @bbcproms. And super fun to hang out with @neilcpferris again.

Packed hall tonight for @the_halle and Sir Mark. Such a powerful programme - The Bells was a treat (I did 😭 - kudos to @mattconducts for razor sharp choir prep) and powerful Shostakovich 5, such a huge, full sound. Ahhh. @bbcproms

Our audacious Elgar trilogy - Gerontius, Apostles, Kingdom, across 8 days - is about to begin @hallechoir @the_halle. Excitement levels and choir stalls equally full.

If the toddler groups of south Manchester could all agree on a definitive tune for Sleeping Bunnies I would be very grateful.
Sending strength, love and boundless admiration from @hallechoir to everyone at @BBCSingers. #WeAreTheBBCSingers

@StagecoachGM please have a word / give extra training to the driver of the 250 service, Stretford Rd, towards town at 3:30 today SK63AVC. Veered into the cycle lane without any warning, I had to jump onto curb to avoid being hit. Driver completely oblivious.
20 years behind the curve doing cloudburst for the first time last night. 30 years behind the curve as this is my default mental image for “baritones begin randomly tapping thighs”
What’s happened to @CargorooBike in Manchester? It’s still listed as one their cities but the bikes have been gone for months now. Really gutted if it’s gone for good.
Well, this was an absolute joy. A whole day inside this great piece with these remarkable people. Thanks to all who came to be part of it.
Really looking forward to this! Come and join in.
