I love this. It's just getting started. Everyone can do everything. The specs, code, tests, PRDs, tickets, fixes and reports get drafted by Claude Code, and I decide what ships. Everyone on my team loves this. We ship as much as we want, when we want. Code used to be my bottleneck; now it's how fast I can decide what's worth building. I work 12 to 13 hours a day because I don't want to stop. I read everything before it goes out. I'm doing more on my own than I ever have. Everyone here, literally everyone, talks to Claude and then argues with each other about what it made. There's a small win every single day. Bugs get fixed the same afternoon we find them. I'm thinking harder than I have in years. The LLMs do the typing and I make the calls. It's the most fun I've ever had. I take the time to check the code and see what's going where, because nobody's rushing me. The goal is to build things that work, and I finally get to do it myself. I say all this having already exited a startup I built the old fashion way.
I am done with this shit. It is over. The state of engineering right now is horrible. It has been half a month since I started a new role at a big company. Nobody knows anything here. The specs, code, tests, PRDs, tickets, resolution of those tickets, reports, etc., everything is made by Claude Code. Nobody on my team likes this. They are being forced to ship as much as they can. I have heard multiple times from higher management that pushing code is not a bottleneck, so why are we slow? People are working 12 to 13 hours a day just to press enter. Nobody is reading anything. Humans in corporate are doing nothing on their own. Everyone, literally everyone, from an L1 to an L7 engineer here is doing the same thing. Talk to Claude. There is no sense of victory. Nobody is resolving bugs. In reality, nobody is thinking anymore. Everything is done by LLMs. It is so soul-sucking. I would not mind it, to be honest, if we were at least given the time to check out the code and see what is going where. But no, the goal is to just ship. No matter what happens.
The new benchmark for personal AGI should be knowing your main password to everything without hacking.

This is vague. What does this mean with numbers?
The fact that these 2 tweets are side by side on my feed tell me everything I need to know about what to do in my life

exited team of Valley founders: we've been doing financial analyses as we consult on AI transformation for boring businesses and would love to give this a spin for IRL problems and businesses
Models are intelligence. What’s the moat between you and I, as “intelligence”? Applications.
The idea that wrappers aren’t moat-able misses the first principle.
