Who is building an agent-first programming language? Something that is optimized for correctness and does not need to care about human ergonomics and brevity. Like rust but 100 times more autistic.

This is why you should namespace all your employee emails with a hash of their ID number. Now, jokes aside, I've seen this probably countless times. More particularly with people wanting to own [email protected], without the surname (which is a particularly bad namespace in Spain, where ~4% is called García, and it will only get worse)
We hired a new VP named Michael Lee. Unfortunately we already have a Michael Lee. He works in the warehouse. He's been here 11 years. New VP gets: [email protected] He immediately messages IT. “Can you move the other Michael to michael.lee2 and give me michael.lee?” No. He asks HR. HR asks me if we can “prioritize seniority.” I explain that the warehouse Michael has eleven years of email history tied to that address and changing it because someone with a nicer title arrived would be insane. VP reluctantly keeps the 2. Warehouse Michael finds out. Changes his Teams display name to: Michael Lee (Original) By Friday the VP is being referred to as Sequel Mike. He has asked IT to intervene. Unfortunately nickname management is outside our support scope.

I'm a thoughtleader now!

If you delegate writing papers, you are also delegating understanding them. Doing = Understanding.
We are seeing a new trend in submissions to @arxiv (and presumably to conferences and journals): Authors submitting papers whose contents they likely do not understand. 1/

It happened again. There's a Google ad for "brew install" pointing at a fake Homebrew page. The command starts with echo "brew.sh" so your terminal prints something safe. The real URL is base64. It drops a macOS stealer. Type brew.sh yourself.

I'm pretty convinced that what made LLMs so successful is their ass-licking personality. It turns out, we all privately wanted to feel validated. LLMs always treat you kindly, making you feel smarter than you are.

The biggest divide in software engineering right now is between people who saw the job as a means to an end and those who saw it as an end in itself. In the past, you would assemble teams with a healthy balance of both and they would act as complementary forces. One side pushed for outcomes at any cost while the other obsessed about quality by caring deeply about the craft. The best teams I've assembled had both, which somehow balanced the short and long term objectives of the organization. Now, that balance is broken, craft is dead, and those (like myself) who used to go to bed thinking, “I can’t believe I get paid to do what I love most,” need to go back to the drawing board and rethink what to do with our careers.

There’s nothing more depressing than building a product with a free tier. Free products attract the worst behaviour: obscure, illegal, and often amoral requests. It makes you lose faith in humanity. I can’t imagine what the safety teams at ChatGPT or any major social network deal with every day.

Handinger just got two big upgrades: Skills and image generation. With Skills, you can teach a worker how to do a task once and turn it into a reusable template for the whole company. Workers can also create skills by themselves, so they improve as they work and remember the important stuff. We also added image generation. You can now create and edit images directly from Handinger. Try it out!

The whole prompt/code is the same as code/assembly narrative feels off to me. The difference of abstraction seems to be an order of magnitude bigger.

Vibe coding, yada yada. But onboarding a non-technical person (likely on Windows, without terminal knowledge) to ship features and improvements into an existing codebase is still unsolved. In 2026 I don't want to implement another CMS + Wordpress, I want to let content people and SEO specialists build the public site as much as they want. And it does not help that every dev environment company pivoted to agent sandbox infrastructure. Big opportunity here. Nailing “prompt → preview → iterate → PR” for normal people will be important.

I used to spend my summers washing dishes in restaurants. If you want to spend yours building agents instead, I have a position for you! I’m looking for a freelance to work next to me on Handinger for the next 2 months. 100% Remote. Flexible schedule. 3-5k/month, depending on seniority and time available. Looking for a JS developer with AI engineering experience (agents, harnesses), and that can go deep into the details. A crafter, that knows how to balance LLMs with coding by hand. Bonus points if you have experience with Cloudflare Workers and their ecosystem. DM me if interested.

I don't know about you, but I don't like sending cold emails (outreach). Spending the whole morning gathering information, visiting websites, just to personalize and send a handful of emails. What a waste of time. I want to show you how I automate outreach using Handinger! Now I do it because I'm looking for partners, but this would have been really useful while hiring too.

Today I gave a talk and pissed off some people. In an age of rampant sycophancy, I consider this a success. Just unfiltered strong opinions.
