With and without amistat xtra headwash. Light and day with colour but will see if it translates to yield. @todd_venning @_Darcy_king @funky_farmer @PineHillsa

No amistar Xtra at headwash sure stands out after a couple of showers, a 300-500kg yield increase from the application in parts of the paddock that weren't water limited, but no change in parts that were water limited. However 1% more protein wherever there was amistar applied.

Crown rot starting to show in some paddocks with tight rotations and subsoil issues. Great way to pick a couple of paddocks for some soil pits or ripping trials also.

Miravis star (green section) on diamond canola (a sucker for sclero). This fungicide has some amazing stay green properties, even in a decile 1 spring this will be a big yield difference. Other varieties seem unaffected. @SynCerealsANZ @gwxr496

Still disease around, I'm surprised how humid the crops are with the hot dry weather 26 today but feels alot cooler when you walk into the crop and bloody humid.... a good thing but keeping the disease going

Severe Ascochyta causing stem breakages in Hallmark lentils at Beulah. Culturing to confirm. Stem breakages = yield loss from our experience in other crops. 4-5 node stage. Fungicides low risk solution here with more rain forecast.

Calibre wheat @agtbreeding fell over prior to harvest last year, made harvesting it tricky. Variety trait or just terrible winds? @HaydnKuchel
