en.mercopress.com/2025/11/26โ€ฆ @mragilligan @ConHome The Falklands is not a barren โ€˜solutionโ€™ for UK migration policy. Itโ€™s our home, beautiful, safe and NOT equipped to house thousands the UK says it canโ€™t manage. If the UK doesnโ€™t want them, speed up processing.

webtv.un.org/en/asset/k1w/k1โ€ฆ once again the @UN #Decolonisation Committee fail to uphold the basic fundamental #humanright for our people of the #Falklands. How long can they support #Argentina campaigning to turn us into a #colony of theirs against our peoples wishes.

Falkland Islanders โ€“ Michael, Emmaleigh and Nick โ€“ are at the @UN to advocate for their right of self-determination. In 2013, 99.8% of Falkland Islanders voted to remain British. Their choice should be respected. The UK will always defend their right to decide their destiny.

The US claim that the #Falklands impose an 82% tariff may come from dividing the trade deficit ($18.7m) by Falklands exports to the US ($22.8m). But thatโ€™s not how tariffs workโ€”trade deficits โ‰  tariff rates. This method is misleading. #tariffs #trade

Happy #Falklands Day! In 1592 Captain John Davis made the first recorded sighting of #Falklands on his ship the Desire. We are a growing, diverse and resilient community that has prospered over time thanks to the generations of people who have made these islands their home.
