Over 7,000 people have died since the Scottish Government declared a drugs a public health emergency.
Scots are 15 times more likely to die from drugs if they are poor than if they are rich.
We can't go on like this.
Is this the reason the SNP want employment law devolved so they can avoid the largest upgrade in workers rights in the generation with @UKLabours Employment Rights Bill?
It beggars belief that the SNP council is threatening to railroad through fire and rehire before it is made illegal in this country by the UK Labour government.
It may not break the letter of the law but it certainly breaks the spirit of it. It’s a despicable way to treat working people. It’s straight out the Tory playbook.
All parties need to get round the table and hammer out a deal,and working people should never be threatened like this again.

To mark World Suicide Prevention Day 2026, @SuicidePrevScot has launched a new documentary entitled, ‘What I Want you to Know’.
The film follows Hearts supporter, Phil Wanless, who lost his son Fraser in 2021.
Premiered at Tynecastle, on Tuesday night, the film highlights the family’s hurt and seeks to understand the key factors in preventing suicide from entering the mind.
