I asked Claude Opus 5.5 to create a very simple explainer of how GRZ bonds work. I have a Remotion and React skill that I installed in my Claude and I gave Opus 5.5 access to it and my Elevenlabs account. That is all. If, you've wanted to know who GRZ bonds work, watch this 5 min explainer

Spent a day visiting the #Kariba Dam - critical infrastructure the @WBG helped finance in the late 1950s. More recently, through the Zambian Government’s Kariba Dam Rehabilitation Project, investments were made to secure a more reliable energy future for #Zambia and #Zimbabwe @WorldBankAfrica

The Lobito Corridor is moving from vision to implementation. The ambition is to build an integrated economic corridor — connecting export oriented trade with jobs through mining, energy, agribusiness, logistics, and much more along Zambia, DRC, and Angola.

It appears the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel which was located at Society Business Park isn't going to be reopened. All goods belonging to the hotel will be auctioned this weekend. If you've a lodge or boarding house or perhaps a cafe, head there for some good deals.

Delighted to join the 2nd Lobito Corridor Coordination Meeting in Lusaka. Three countries. Clear commitments. A shared roadmap for trade, investment, and jobs across Angola, DRC, and Zambia. The corridor's potential is enormous and today we took meaningful steps to unlock it.

What stood out was the confidence Zambian students gained in naming their skills, exploring options, and articulating where they want to go next. Just as striking is how adaptable the platform is - simple enough to localize, but structured enough to replicate. @WBG_Education

I prompted Claude Opus 5.5 to generate an MP4 motion graphics. All I did was screenshot the BOZ thread on the policy rate announcement followed by the simple prompt (F1). It only took 30 mins to generate. Anyone who knows motion graphics will tell you that this would take hours. Claude even told me that it could not find a computer voice with a Zambian accent!! (F2) This was a one shot
These tools are there..use them as part of your workflow
BOZ has cut its policy rate by 250 basis points, from 13.25% to 10.75%. That’s a 2.5 percentage-point reduction!! @InfinitelyDean your thoughts when you have a moment
