Telegram has 1bn monthly users who LOVE the UX, but HATE its crappy privacy.

CAPTURE Part 4: THE MACHINE
The fourth and final installment is out.
Bitcoin Magazine wasn’t just covering the fight over Bitcoin’s future. Its parent operated an Ordinals trading desk, invested in businesses tied to the ecosystem, and maintained editorial policies that exempted parts of that same business.
Then came an $80,000/month marketing contract, with an option for Nakamoto Inc. to buy BTC Inc at a valuation tied to its earnings, in a window that included the OP_RETURN fight. Nakamoto exercised the option.
Readers were not consistently told about these commercial relationships.
A documented investigation into the commercial interests and media infrastructure surrounding the Bitcoin Core controversy.

Hey @Liquid_BTC - no updates? When will the 600 BTC be returned and when will peg-outs start again?
Real people are waiting for their savings!
LIQUID NETWORK UPDATE: ECOSYSTEM ACTIVITY
Status as of September 28, 2026, 05:48 UTC
Security Audit and PAK update
An independent external security audit of Elements v23.3.4 is now underway, providing an additional layer of validation as we work toward the safe restoration of peg-out operations.
In parallel, the Liquid Federation is coordinating an update to the PAK list, including the replacement of existing entries and ensuring all peg out keys are properly secured in cold storage.
These efforts are important steps toward resuming secure peg-out operations. We expect to share further updates on the path to resumption shortly.

Replying to @LukeDashjr @BTCForevercast
"I hope it’s obvious it was only the centrally controlled nature of those systems that doomed them. I think this is the first time we’re trying a decentralized, non-trust-based system" - Satoshi Nakamoto (2009).

Starting 7 October 2026, this pool's public stratum endpoint becomes a donation endpoint and takes a 100% fee. That 100% fee is both a pool donation and a DATUM subsidy: half to the pool address, half to DATUM gateways. The network nodes will not tolerate stratum hashing. During the current 45-day coinbase maturity window, all rewards from stratum hashing on any pool will be 100% invalidated. Moving to another pool will not change that. The only way to be paid is to build your own templates with your own Bitcoin Knots node and a DATUM gateway. On your own gateway the fee is 0%, and work already accepted comes with you when you switch.

Bitcoin is far more important than AI, orders of magnitude more important. It solves the problem of printing money. There's no more important economic problem to solve. You won't have reliable power or any of its downstream benefits without sound money. No matter the handwaving.

Lazarus Pool is now majority DATUM. We have had at least two large hashing farms switch from stratum to DATUM gateways due to the subsidy created from stratum fees, nearly 2 PH/s migrated.
By default, fork.observer now shows the block pools are mining on. Thanks you @boerst for providing the stratum.work data!
