Top 8 at the Modern Spotlight with Devoted Druid. Love a creature combo deck. Thanks to @PiemontiAndrea @ParadoxEng1neer @amir_mtg and @FrowningTable's Farmstead for the help.

Back to back LCQ T32 draft. Final individual sealed record in MSH sealed since Vegas main event is 27-3. Now I need to see if I can win my first draft match ever after losing the quarters last time!

Finally did it on Arena! Love optimizing pools in this format. Only loss was to @serra2020. Still looking to lock down a team/teammate for Brussels. 16-2 in Sealed since the Vegas main event.

Not being aware of this extremely niche rules interaction almost led to me losing from a 95% spot. Be aware! Also, forgot Friday's play-in for the updated 20-2 tally. That one had Super Hero Civil War and was quite forgettable.

First day 2 on one of these since they involved manual Discord pairings. After having so much fun competing in Vegas, I am looking for a team/teammates for Brussels. Got a couple folks that are still TBD. We'll make it work, hit me up!

Started with a more proactive build earlier in the day, and ended up going max interaction late in the rounds for the really broken decks. Captain Marvel was messed up as expected. Shoutouts to Kingpin and Night Nurse + Surveil/Connive for leading to fun moments.

It was an honor and a privilege running the testing process with @Corey_Burkhart and bringing together all these wonderful magicians for this wild ride. Congrats to those that achieved their goals, I'm going back into retirement but maybe you'll see me back another time 🫡

It's been over five years since playing a Pro Tour and I couldn't be more excited to be back in action with past testing partners and new friends!

Deck pics from the PTQ! I started UR in G1s in Sealed, frequently boarding into UB splash red in grindy situations with no mill threat. The packs and color situation were difficult in the draft but I made a lane. Both decks got to do disgusting things with full engines assembled!

Thanks to the kindness of one of the Limited and Magic community 🐐s, I'm finally back to the PT! Many fun battles against Sam in the past, but the only battle this time was trying to hold back tears of joy when Sam gave me the good news. The other PTQ was eventful, see text

Deck and cards I sided in from the PTQ draft. I’m not sure if the push the limit plan was good. I did win with it, but I also sided it out (with back on track and some vehicles) to go more aggro and discard more lands. Deck was very good either way.

Conceded the finals of the PTQ to Mark Jacobson. He really wanted the invite and I mostly just feel like I should prove that I can still do it. I’ve been close basically every MagicCon, I’ll take a different one.

I went deep into Standard for #SpotlightFoundations. Knight Pixie, Enigma Jewel Talent, true Mice, and WB Midrange were decks almost good enough, just needing more polishing and testing. I made an account with the same name at that Other Place, so follow me there. Decks below! 🧵

Idea: beat UB, red aggro, and Pixie, board heavily for decks like Domain and Caretakers. Felt solid, but I preferred to be more proactive for the GP. Had an extra Tome and a Sunfall originally. The End would fit the main except for clashing at the 4 mana spot.

My next event will be the Limited PTQs at MC Chicago. After looking through all the Standard legal cards in Scryfall countless times, the Limited prep will be a nice change of pace. See y'all there and let me know if you find any success with any of these ideas!
