Nice work. Good to see measurement tools that facilitate understanding of the full spectrum of athlete mental health
If conducting research into mental health in athletes this article maybe of interest @SportNINet @BamfordCentre @eis2win @SShannon978 #justpublished #wellbeing #research #impact

Kai, couldn't agree more. See my thread on the culture change needed in the NCAA to protect the mental health of college athletes. @4athleteshealth xitter.cf/chadasplund/status/151…
Thread: Tragically learned about another college athlete suicide - we're reaching near epidemic levels of suicide in this population. While important for colleges to have resources-this problem is much bigger than having/not having psych available. ITS TIME TO CHANGE THE CULTURE!

Word of the day (for the umpteenth time, strangely) is 'quiddling': 18th-century speak for paying extra attention to trivial matters as a way of avoiding the important ones.

The suicide rate in England's most deprived areas is almost twice as high as that found in the least deprived (14.1 vs 7.4 per 100.000) as are the psych-prescription rates. Clearly what's needed are more socio/political solutions not yet more psychotropics commonslibrary.parliament.uk…
