Performing crypto recovery work for almost 10 years in the most popular and pioneering Bitcoin community in Spanish: https://xitter.cf/t.co/GKkzJS2u1q

The reward has been increased to 0.5 BTC (~$40,000 USD). In 2013, someone created an Electrum wallet and set a password on their computer: blockchain.com/explorer/addr… They used the password daily for approximately two months before moving on to other activities and abandoning the project. Six months later, they tried to access the system again but could no longer remember the exact password. What makes this case unusual is that the password had been used repeatedly for two months. During the first month, they copied it from a piece of paper. After discarding the paper, they continued using the password from memory for another month. They believe they still remember several key characteristics of the password: - It contained three "X"s. - There were two words placed between the Xs. - The prefix was either !x or !z. - The suffix was either !@#$% or (12345, depending on whether Shift was being held. - The two words they remember are "ngn" and "ycm". - They strongly believe that both words had the same length. Example: !zXngnXycmX@#$% For anyone who wants to test password candidates manually, an offline page is available here: mrbianchi.github.io/16btc-lu… For those who prefer brute-force or dictionary attacks using Hashcat, the wallet hash is available here: mrbianchi.github.io/16btc-lu… I have been recovering cryptocurrency wallets for nearly 10 years within one of the most popular and pioneering Spanish-language Bitcoin communities. The first open call in 2018 regarding a Litecoin wallet: facebook.com/groups/35187063… (not telegram) The second open call in this year: xitter.cf/marcebit/status/206701… Feel free to explore the group to verify my track record or ask other members about me. I also created a Telegram group to answer questions and exchange ideas or contributions regarding password attempts: t.me/+KaMUnFrrVSZmNGU5 More data provided by the original owner is there (images, pdfs, past candidates, etc) and he will be replying every question too. DISCLAIMER: Unlike previous cases, I do not possess the encrypted drive, and the Bitcoin address is hypothetical—the result of an analysis. In the event of a successful recovery, the exchange must take place in person, and the password must not be published or shared anywhere.
16.5 BTC RECOVERED ! Thanks everyone for trusting on me and participating in blockchain.com/explorer/addr… Years ago, I was working on a crypto recovery project on a PC. Among the files, I found Ariel's wallet, who had apparently tried to recover his funds. I searched high and low for him, but he blocked me everywhere! Finally, I called his work and managed to get in touch. After getting his consent, I started working. I tried on my own, but it was quite difficult, so I put out an open call for everyone to try, but I had only posted it on Facebook, where everyone knows me. A year passed, and I decided to repost it, but this time I also posted it on Reddit and X. I even invested money to boost the posts (which, by the way, got me blocked from using ads...). In less than 5 days, someone from the community (who wasn't even in the Telegram group we created) succeeded. I'm truly grateful to everyone. I hope to bring you more challenges soon, follow me! Ah! the password was "pera5durasnopera5lus"

Infobae 🔗infob.ae/4pW59K4

$1.6 million dollars in Bitcoin was drained from my account on July 29th in the Cold Card wallet hack. My Bitcoin was in cold storage. My keys were on a ColdCard device kept in a safety deposit box that had never been connected to the internet. This part's nerdy, but here's what happened: Hackers discovered a vulnerability in the part of the hardware wallet code used to create seed phrases. This allowed them to use AI to brute force guessing seed phrases. I was at our cottage and heard about the hack today. "No way this affects me." I thought. I logged into Wasabi––software that lets me view my bitcoin wallets online. Right away I saw lines of red transaction–withdrawals–and I knew. From 9:36pm - 9:43pm on July 29th, every wallet I had had been emptied. 18.25245043 btc gone. That's just over $1.6 million dollars CAD. Perhaps the hardest part about this is that I did everything right. I never shared my seed phrase with anybody. My devices never touched the internet. Everything was kept in multiple safes and safety deposit boxes. None of it mattered. All because the hardware that created the seed phrase originally had one line in their code from 2021 that had a vulnerability. I'm filing a police report and a report with the Ontario Securities Commission. But I don't expect to recoup anything. A part of me is trying to make sense of what just happened. Or try to figure out a lesson in it. I'm struggling. $1.6 million is a staggering amount of money to have stolen. I guess all that I can think about right now is that I'm so damn happy that I'm an entrepreneur and that my earning potential is under my control. Mark my damn words. I'll recover.
