How were these large residential and commercial units sanctioned without sewage treatment facilities and ugd connection?
And how can they keep pumping their untreated stinking sewage day in and day out into a thriving lake for years without a consequence?
Lakes are meant for groundwater recharge, not for treating sewage.
NGT rules clearly state that such constructions or laying sewerage pipes inside lakes territory is not permitted.

We handed over the cycles sponsored by @SoftwareAG to the guards deployed at kaikondrahalli, sowl kere and kasavanahalli lakes.
The cycles help them commute to the lake everyday as well as in doing the rounds as all 3 lakes have ~2km pathway.
