Finally, the Laravel for JavaScript
Void v1.1.11 is out & fully open source!
Void is a full-stack SDK, CLI, and platform that unifies building & deploying apps.
◆ SDK: Zero-config SDK to build full-stack @vite_js apps
◆ Platform: A shared deployment platform for teams to host Void apps on @Cloudflare
◆ CLI: Provision resources and deploy Vite apps to Cloudflare or Void.
Build on Vite. Deploy on Void.

triptojapan left @vercel - today - vinext on @CloudflareDev FTW
~$1,470/mo → ~$200-300/mo
vercel was getting insane: build minutes ($1.3k since July), bandwidth ($1.1k), CDN requests ($0.9k)
taking advantage of the new worker cache header feature for CDN hosting on static and semi-static pages

👀 GitHub Actions - Parallel steps
Just gave it a try on our CI linting workflow
Super easy to set up
➡️ ~25% speed improvement
These are CPU/IO-bound tasks on a small/default runner
I'm sure the perf increase can be even more significant depending on steps

When my React code gets unwieldy, I grab pen and paper and draw the component tree by hand, both parents (structure) and owners (data flow). Playing around with a tool that uses @aidenybai's bippy to draw both tree live, from any running React app, in the style of my blog diagram

TIL about .git-blame-ignore-revs
Apparently, you can ask Git to ignore some commits in Git blame
Useful if you reformat a lot of code at once and don't want it to pollute your Git blame with useless noise

I built Stamp, a Gmail-style inbox, to explore the new 𝚗𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚐𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗() API in Next.js 16.4.
Sometimes you want to cache content for return visits without prefetching it before someone opens the page.
In this mailbox, visible links prefetch each thread's header. The message bodies still use '𝚞𝚜𝚎 𝚌𝚊𝚌𝚑𝚎', but 𝚊𝚠𝚊𝚒𝚝 𝚗𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚐𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗() keeps them out of the prefetch. They load after the click but will still be reused when you return.

With MSW 3.0 released this week, I want to try something new to make the project financially sustainable. I wrote an open letter about the project, its history, and impact on the ecosystem.
I ask for five minutes of your time to read it. Thank you.

GPT-6.1 Sol is our most demanded model pretty much ever both across both the API and subscriptions.
Within ChatGPT & Codex, we were under heavy load, but have brough more capacity online and the speed should get much better in the coming hours, reaching almost twice the speed compared to what we served yesterday.
