The team placed 3rd overall and won multiple awards including the Robot Design Award, Judges’ Award, and Outstanding Coach Award. The Dean, Ing. Prof. Elsie Effah Kaufmann, had earlier met the students at the airport while heading to her research visit at the University of Oregon, where she encouraged them to win. The students, coaches, and teachers, accompanied by Douglas Ayitey, recently paid a courtesy call on the Dean to report their success.
