Hi BC Conservative Candidate Margareta, here are screenshots of your financial agent saying that he is in favour of slavery, that eugenics is desirable, and homosexuality is a disease.
Another week, another violent attack in downtown Vancouver. Last night, a man was attacked with a hammer at 2:00AM during a suspected robbery. After 9 years of NDP disorder, headlines like this are the norm. They shouldn’t be. Thank you @VancouverPD for the quick arrests. The @Conservative_BC plan, Safe Streets for BC, will hire 250 more police officers for crime hotspots, add 50 Crown prosecutors, expand court capacity, and publicly track repeat offending & bail compliance – so our justice system is accountable for results.

I find it funny that ABC supporters are now saying Vancouver is fucked. Yet those same people who support BC Conservatives aren't using examples of how Conservatives have fucked up the rest of Canada/USA. #Alberta, anyone? Doug Ford? Why will it be different here? #BCPoli

Why does Lorne Doerkson have an open separatist in his inner circle? He's thanked Michael Henshall by name in the legislature. Meanwhile, Henshall is organizing for BC to join Alberta's separatist movement.

I understand that the BC Conservatives may not have had a lot of time to put this document together, but the fiscal plan comes across as one of the more reckless on offer from any political party in the country in recent years.
BC Conservative platform is out conservativebc.ca/plan/ - I’ll take a closer look but at first glance, don’t see a detailed plan to pay for major promises incl. big income tax cut other than talk of accelerating economic growth. Deficit reduction similar to NDPs. More to come

"I am proud of this team and of the way it came together" - Lorne Doerkson, Oct 4, 2026. #bcpoli
It’s hard to find the words. The Conservative candidate for Juan de Fuca-Malahat saying, on camera, that First Nations need to be conquered. I think of all the First Nations in that constituency and what this attack must feel like to them.

The Conservatives have been clear: they’d scrap the foreign buyer tax and the speculation and vacancy tax, and hand B.C. housing back to international investors. We need to make sure that British Columbians are first in line.

I asked a simple question: is it hateful to tell a colleague at work that she’s immoral for being gay? The Conservative leader couldn’t give a straight answer. That tells British Columbians everything they need to know.

Lorne Doerkson's campaign director didn't make a single mistake. She has demonstrated a pattern of amplifying racist views, which she has not addressed or apologized for. #bcpoli

Conservative Health Critic Anna Kindy is clear: she supports two-tier healthcare. This would let the richest jump the line, pull workers out of the public system, and leave everyone else waiting longer. That's the conservative approach in Alberta - we can't afford it here.

If Lorne Doerkson means what he says about rejecting hate, he should fire Katy Merrifield. British Columbians deserve a leader who applies the same standard to his campaign manager as he does to his candidates.

“If education and healthcare are the two biggest line items on the budget, they're the ones that are going to have to take the brunt of this somehow.” - Conservative MLA Tony Luck. $4-billion (at least) of cuts coming to healthcare and education if the Conservatives get in.

Oof. BC Conservative candidate for Victoria–Beacon Hill Joachim Agou apparently advocating for… murder? 🤔 This should be a no-brainer: Normie Lorne Doerkson should disavow Agou. Like, right now. It’s not like the BC Conservatives were going to win that riding anyway.
Absolutely horrific racism from this Conservative candidate. Attacking the Pakistani community as "a sh*thole," joking about killing protestors, celebrating white supremacist figures. There's only one way for Lorne Doerkson to respond: fire this candidate immediately.

The people set to benefit the most from Doerkson's secret plan to double car insurance love the deal. Rich lawyers profit, normal people pay.
Richard, I know you’re trying to cope with running for a party that’s stripped innocent victims of all their rights and access to justice, but any journalist (even former), surely knows a letter addressed to tens of thousands of people is not a “secret”.

This is pretty shocking. I'm not sure what's worse - the secret letter, the fact he tried to deny it, or the reality that this would mean skyrocketing car insurance rates for people.
Major fiasco BC Conservatives halfway point of campaign. Secret letter tells lawyers, industry insiders plans for auto insurance before telling public. Assuming letter won't be leaked. Saying "everything is on table." Doerkson has some explaining to do.

If the @Conservative_BC plan to change ICBC's auto insurance, they should tell voters before they tell the the group that stands to make millions from the change. My latest in @BIVnews: biv.com/news/commentary/rob-…

The BC Conservatives are scheming in secret to raise your auto insurance rates so their corporate friends and insiders can make more money off of you. Just like they'll cancel the speculation and vacancy tax so the real estate industry can benefit. They're not working for you.

The BC Liberals who have taken over the BC Conservatives are dusting off the same old playbook: prioritize corporate special interests over the interests of working people. Slash public services while benefiting the elite. We can't go back to that.
