Surrey is high energy, entrepreneurial and one of the most diverse places in the country. Right here in Cloverdale, the new Surrey hospital is rising out of the ground. It’s the largest health care investment south of the Fraser, ever.
It was great to be here with Steven Dooley, who ran SFU’s Surrey campus and helped get the new medical school over the finish line. We’ve done a lot for Surrey, and we’re not done yet. Let’s keep building B.C. strong.

BC NDP Leader David Eby made a campaign bus stop at the new Surrey hospital site in Cloverdale, reaffirming his commitment to complete key healthcare and transit projects. Eby criticized the BC Conservatives’ $25M proposal for a third hospital as unfeasible, promising that if the community needs a third hospital or a specialized Women and Children’s hospital, the NDP will fully fund and deliver it alongside local leaders.

While Doerkson dodges, we're building. Our BC NDP team is delivering 250 new and expanded school projects, including a new high school for Coquitlam-Burke Mountain.
