We discovered a sophisticated recording device that was hidden inside one of our offices. We used our models to understand the device and where it had come from, identifying that a specific employee had planted it a few days earlier. We referred the matter to the FBI, and we’re grateful to the agents and prosecutors who moved quickly to make an arrest. The FBI’s investigation is ongoing and we will continue to support their work. At this time, we have no indications of this individual inappropriately accessing or exfiltrating model weights, source code, or customer data. The employee was terminated. We take protecting our technology, data, and people seriously, and as a matter of national importance. Our security program is designed to protect against a wide range of threat actors, from insider risks to cybercriminals to nation states, and this case is an example of how AI can help address these sophisticated security threats.

To every digital artist attacking AI-assisted creators: If you had been creating digital art when it first emerged, traditional painters would have called you a cheater too. New tool. Same accusation. Same panic. History has a funny way of turning yesterday’s “cheating” into today’s standard.

I think Im done financially supporting every set of @UA_EN_TCG. The lack of communication, the frustration of Rare Battles that I get into but get rescheduled because of delayed kits so I lose my spot, and their inability to combat ghost shops from whatnot streamers and scalpers. Myself and one other person built the Austin UA scene from a tiny 3 person local to almost 200 people in the discord and a consistent 12 - 16 person local. It took a long time and a lot of passion. Bandai has done nothing but ruin that with lackluster prizing and no real support for real LGS stores. Its diminished because of a lack of product which means no prize support, and frustration on having to purchase secondary market. Im just kind of over it. That tweet in Japanese was my big attempt to reach the Japanese branch. I know Bandai saw it based on some of the interactions I got on the tweet. Until there's some sort of address from the new Producer I am just going to buy singles for sets that I really care about, and branch out. Yall will see AnimeTCG large-scale events and production coming soon.
