Alex Scott played for Arsenal and England for over 16 years all while appearing on multiple different outlets such as Sky Sports, BBC, BT Sport, and when she retired she completed a degree in Professional Sports Writing and Broadcasting at Staffordshire University, presented Goals on Sunday alongside Kammy, the One Show and the BBC SPOTY awards.
She’s more than deserved her chance to be the Match of The Day presenter and it’s all from hard fucking work. @FootbalIhub

It’s incomprehensible UK News Shows continue to discuss economic growth & trade without pointing out to ministers & viewers the OBR report the government is relying on says Brexit is on course to cut UK trade by a staggering 15% - a huge reduction in the potential economic performance of the country at a time when every penny counts. Why are UK news shows not pointing out budget discussions are completely ignoring the largest factor by far stopping UK economic growth - Brexit?
With warning’s Trump tariffs could halve UK growth & push up prices @EdwardJDavey asked @Keir_Starmer at #PMQs if he “recognized it’s more urgent than ever to get rid of the damaging trade barriers with Europe put in place by the Conservatives?”
Sit down for the PM’s reply

BBC Newsnight interview an Israeli football fan and his son who were in Amsterdam to watch the game
The man says the violence against Maccabi Tel Aviv fans is not connected to a taxi driver being attacked or to those fans taking down and burning Palestinian flags. He says it's because they're Israeli
BBC Newsnight do not show the footage which Channel 4 News showed, of Maccabi Tel Aviv fans in Amsterdam central square having skimishes with the police, or with the fans shouting racist anti Arab chants on the way to the match
Just to be clear, nobody should be subjected to attacks or abuse, whether it's people attacking Israeli football fans, or Israeli football fans attacking taxi drivers, burning flags, chanting racist anti Arab abuse on the way to a football match
We have to ask ourselves what kind of society we want to live in, and it ought to be one of peace

This is Europe.
You will notice Israel isn't in it.
So why are they in UEFA?
They should be in UAFA with all the other Middle Eastern teams.

Curious isn’t it that France attracts nearly three times the number of tourists as the UK when they killed their last king in 1793 don’t you think?

It’s time for @Keir_Starmer to be honest with the country about the fact the Brexit red lines are self defeating.
Britain won’t get investment and growth back until we repair the Brexit rupture which is destroying trade.

When Chris Ward took over as manager of @longtonexchange in 2022, 21 of the 60 retail units were empty. He has reduced the vacancy rate to just four. In the same timeframe footfall increased by 32.5%. Watch to find out why he was highly commended in @UniofStaffs Business Awards.

So brexit cost each household in the UK thousands , severely weakened UK economy, caused pound to tank, inflation up, immigration up , good jobs down, NHS battered, energy prices up. Finally the conman behind much of it admits it was all nonsense and could never work. So on whose behalf did Boris Johnson carry it out . Poor Dave down the pub got stitched up like a kipper into voting himself and his family poorer with less rights
