A positive end to a really sharp pre-season. Five different scorers today, and while there are still things to improve, we’re in a good place. Two more training sessions before the opener next weekend. I can’t wait. 💪🏼❤️

120-mile round trip. Weeknight. “Nothing to play for”. One of our best performances of the season. That’s this team. 💪🏼💜

FT: @MTFCReserves1 1-2 Letcombe A win on the road in the rearranged league fixture at Melksham. A screamer from Owen Shaw & a late winner from Oscar Griffiths seal the points. Thank god that didn’t rain too much this afternoon ☔️

Congratulations to Kieran, Ben & Dan on their individual awards; but also to the rest of my team who show year on year that it’s not about ego/levels/status. This club is about family, friendship & unity, and the success we have on-field is the result of our behaviour off it 💜

🐣 | Easter egg-straordinaire. If ever there was a display of talent to match the occasion, it’s this stunning lob from gaffer, @lukestonee, in yesterday’s 6-0 home win. 😮‍💨 Vision. Communication. Execution. Perfection. 🤌

FT: Letcombe 3-2 @pewseyvalefc A 95th minute winner from Kieran Kerby causes bedlam. An outstanding first half free-kick from Xavi Diaz, and a late Ben Cleary header set us up for a grandstand finish. It’s only 3 points, but this is so much sweeter than a 5-0 win UTL 💜

♟️ | Plan B = Plan A. “Keep the ball, be patient, choose the right moment to break a line or take a shot, and if it doesn’t work, get it back quickly and then do it all again, but better.” 😤 Relentless. 💜
