🔴⚪ FULL TIME | DEVIZES TOWN FC 4-1 TROWBRIDGE TOWN FC 🔴⚪ A superb three points for the lads after an excellent all-round performance against a tough Trowbridge side! 💪 The first half was outstanding, with Town taking a deserved 3-0 lead into the break. Joe Beaven opened the scoring on 29 minutes, finishing off a superb Kieran Balchin cross before the in-form Harvey Swain struck twice in the space of just four minutes to put us firmly in control! 🔥 The second half was a more open affair, with both sides having half-chances before Trowbridge produced a superb individual goal to give themselves a glimmer of hope. However, Town had the final say! Returning to the starting XI for the first time in over a year, Logan Anning delivered an excellent in-swinging free kick which fell perfectly for Eoin O'Grady to slot home at the far post and seal all three points! 👏 Another fantastic performance from everyone in the squad, showing quality, determination and togetherness throughout. 🏆 MOTM: Morgan Selemani-Parker Chosen by our player sponsor C.G Electrics, Morgan was outstanding at the back, putting in a superb defensive performance against a tough opponent. Fully deserved! 👏 ⚽ Joe Beaven ⚽⚽ Harvey Swain ⚽ Eoin O'Grady FULL TIME: DEVIZES TOWN FC 4-1 TROWBRIDGE TOWN FC #UpTheTown 🔴⚪ #DTFC #DevizesTownFC #FullTime #ManOfTheMatch #WiltshireFootball

**FULL TIME | ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT FC 2-3 DEVIZES TOWN FC** WHAT A WIN! 🔴⚪️ A dramatic 93rd-minute winner secured all three points for the Town after a hard-fought encounter against Royal Wootton Bassett FC! Bassett gave us the runaround in the opening 10 minutes and deservedly took the lead with their first shot of the game. However, a change in formation completely changed the game, and we looked a different outfit. We started winning duels all over the pitch and created several chances, only to be denied by some excellent saves from the Bassett goalkeeper. Our pressure eventually paid off when Kory Wildman, who was a menace throughout, was fouled inside the box. Sir Eoin O'Grady stepped up and calmly dispatched the penalty to make it 1-1 at half-time. The second half continued in a similar fashion, with the Town in control and looking the more likely to score. Some great work from Joe Beaven sent the in-form Harvey Swain through on goal, and he made no mistake to put us 2-1 ahead. Moments later, Bassett were back on level terms with an equaliser that looked very close to offside, but the goal stood. Both sides had further opportunities, with Bassett hitting the crossbar after we'd missed a couple of chances of our own. As the game entered injury time, it looked like we'd have to settle for a point. But this Town side had other ideas! A delightful free-kick from Eoin O'Grady was met perfectly by Harvey Swain, who cleverly looped his header over the onrushing goalkeeper to send the Town players, staff and supporters into celebration with a **93rd-minute winner!** 🤩 A fully deserved three points after a superb team effort, with everyone contributing both on and off the pitch. The character, determination and togetherness shown by the lads were there for all to see. ⭐ **MAN OF THE MATCH: KORY WILDMAN** An outstanding performance from Kory, who was a constant threat throughout and led by example in a hard-fought contest. Three goals, three points and a late winner. What a way to finish! #UpTheTown #DevizesTownFC #MatchReport #NonLeagueFootball #WiltshireFootball

FULL TIME | 5-4 LOSS What a game! 😮‍💨⚽️ We raced into a 2-0 lead against a very good Melksham Town FC Reserves side, with Harvey Swain and Joe Beaven finding the net, both assisted by Eoin O’Grady. Unfortunately, three sloppy goals saw us go into half-time 3-2 down. Melksham added another early in the second half to make it 4-2, but we responded instantly with an own goal, once again created by Eoin. Melksham hit back quickly to make it 5-3 before Joe Beaven grabbed his second of the night to make it 5-4. An entertaining game against a very good Melksham Town Reserves team, but we're absolutely gutted not to come away with something. We felt our performance deserved more from the game. We dust ourselves down and go again on Saturday as we travel to face Wroughton FC. 🔴⚪️ #UpTheTown #DTFC #DevizesTownFC #FullTime #WiltshireFootball #NonLeagueFootball #Matchday

FULL TIME | 1–1 A frustrating afternoon against Bradford Town Reserves. Just like last week, missed chances have cost us again. We should have been out of sight by half-time, but we failed to capitalise on the opportunities we created. At 1–0, we need to be more ruthless and kill games off. By not doing that, we continue to give the opposition a chance to get back into the game — and yesterday, they took it. Plenty to work on, but we go again. 🔴⚪️ #UpTheTown #DTFC #DevizesTownFC #Matchday #FullTime #NonLeagueFootball #WiltshireFootball

🔴⚪ NEXT MATCH | DEVIZES TOWN FC It’s our 2nd home game of the season as we welcome Bradford Town Reserves to The Grist Environmental Ground! ⚽️ We know the recent form hasn’t been where we want it to be, but this is a new game and a new opportunity. 💪 The lads will be looking to put things right, turn the performances around and give our home supporters something to cheer about! 📅 Saturday 19th September ⏰ 3:00PM 📍 The Grist Environmental Ground 🆚 Bradford Town Reserves Come and get behind the boys! 🔴⚪ One club. 🔴 FULL TIME ⚪ A frustrating afternoon as we fall to a 3-2 defeat against Down Ampney FC. We went into the break 2-1 ahead, with goals from Kieran Balchin and Harvey Swain. ⚽️ We had plenty of opportunities to put the game to bed, but failed to take our chances and were ultimately punished by conceding three poor goals. A disappointing result, but plenty to learn from and improve on. 🔴⚪️ Keep working. Keep believing. #UpTheTown #DTFC #DevizesTownFC #Matchday #NonLeagueFootball #WiltshireFootball

FULL TIME | Shrivenham 7–1 Devizes Town A tough afternoon and a result we simply have to own. Credit to Shrivenham — they were excellent and deserved the win. But from our perspective, we were below the standards we’ve set ourselves across the whole pitch. We’ll take the result on the chin, learn from it and bounce back. 💪 🔴⚪️ #UpTheTown #DTFC #DevizesTownFC #WiltshireFootball #NonLeagueFootball

🔴⚪ NEXT MATCH | SHRIVENHAM FC A huge test awaits us this Saturday. Shrivenham sit top of the league and unbeaten after their opening six games. We head there following back-to-back 1-1 draws, determined to turn those performances into three points. FULL TIME | Devizes Town FC 1–1 Faringdon Town FC We take a point after a hard-fought evening at Nursteed Road. 🔴⚪ ⚽ Harvey Swain opened the scoring, assisted by Kieran Balchin. Despite Faringdon going down to 10 men after 30 minutes, we couldn’t capitalise on the man advantage. The second half saw us struggle to create enough against a tough and well-organised side. As we pushed for the winner, Jack Cross produced a couple of important saves to keep the game level. No game this weekend, so we reset and go again on Saturday 5th September when we face top-of-the-table Shrivenham FC. 🔴⚪ #UpTheTown #DTFC #DevizesTownFC #WiltshireFootball #NonLeagueFootball
