Chaeyoung talks about injuring her eye during Idol School: "During idol school, we had filming 2 days in a row with no sleep. That time, I couldn't take my lenses off and I didn't know the power of artificial tears so I just kept them on. [...] I woke up and it was hurting so bad so I said I must take it off ASAP. Then the lenses weren't coming off… It was so sticky and was glued to my eye but I was being stupid.. and was so sleepy so I said let's just take it off ASAP and pulled it...? I wanted to shower and sleep. I was too tired so I had no sense of judgement. The moment i pulled on it, I couldn't stop crying for hours and my eyes wouldn't even open so that's why during the middle of the show, I wore a eye patch for over a week and filmed. I couldn't go to the hospital for a whole month. Whenever I would go outside to film and see the sun, the tears would come out like crazy so I told them and went to the hospital. And the doctor said my cornea was ripped."
