Jiwon is going viral for this impromptu diva-off from the latest episode of Workdol.

Jiwon talks about her determination to become an idol on the latest episode of Workdol: 👤: How far did you go to achieve your idol dream? 🐰: I used to live in Busan. I auditioned from an academy, passed, and went up to Seoul and in the beginning for about a month, I lived in a jjimjilbang (Korean sauna.) I’d sleep at saunas, go back to Busan to study, and come back every weekend to practice. I think I only had the passion to do well. #fromis9 #2026MAMAVOTE

Jisun on the objectification she faced as an idol: "The comments left for me were things like 'she's pretty', 'how's her body shape', or 'I wish Roh Jisun was my girlfriend'. Oh, that's right. Thinking, 'who would date someone like that?', 'I could hook up with her if I do it right'. 'I'm jealous of her boyfriend'. It was always that she was pretty, or that her body shape was good, I hated being consumed like that. I really wanted people to be curious about my work and my stage, and to say it was cool. But to really be honest, whenever I performed somewhere, they would zoom in on my chest and upload a slow-motion video. When things like that happened, the focus stayed primarily on my external appearance."

Jisun on her silence during the situation: "If you ask for my honest opinion, the fault really lies with the bad people. No matter what I say, articles kept coming out connecting me with the other contestants from the show. That only caused more harm, which is why I couldn't say anything much. It's a really awkward and tricky situation."

Jisun revealed that she used to work part-time during periods where fromis_9 had no activities: “Around that time, when I didn’t have any activities, I went to work at a dermatology clinic and did a part-time job. But it’s not like I was facing people as a consultation manager or anything. It was more of an internal/administrative role.”

Today marks 8 years since fromis_9 released their Special Single Album ‘From.9’ and their classic title track ‘LOVE BOMB’

Jisun has been announced as a cast member for a new beauty show ‘The Mystery Cafe’. The show also stars ILLIT’s Yunah, Single's Inferno's Kim Mingee and influencer Sunny.
